Sounds like the type of place where 3 days might not be enough :giggle1: . It is somewhere I'd like to visit though, definitely

I reckon you could do a good chunk of the main sites in three days. They have a metro that makes it easy to get around.

    I'd recommend Paris.

The subway etc is crawling in Syrians begging but they dont bother you that much they usually just sit there and theres some on the streets but theyre mostly in the undergrounds - Munich has the same but just only 10% of the amount, not as much as the Africans in Milan who pester you everywhere trying to punt wee string bracelets.

Paris is quite dirty as well looking but so are most places, even Barcelona but it definitely has great variety of different cafes and restaurantes and things to do. In Barcelona I dont remember many homeless people or foreign people in the streets begging though.

Depends what sort of trip you’re after. Germany is best for cheap pubs and getting smashed, having fun. Barcelona, Paris and Milan are the best for culture, architecture and overall beauty. Brussels is very small, like Amsterdam’s, boring little brother. A nice place but I’d say boring for a full 3 days as a young guy (presumably in a group). Marseille is basically a shithole, I’d only go for a Ligue 1 game. Probably the worst (violence and crime wise) city in Western Europe alongside Napoli.

My favourite of the suggestions is Barca - has everything the beach, mountains, urban environment but not too big a metropolis. Paris is great in the central areas but almost London size which is daunting at first, dunno if you like huge cities. Milan is more corporate, less touristy but still beautiful, definitely the safest and cleanest big city I’ve ever been to. Massive but very cheap and easy to get around. Probably the cheapest in Europe actually travel wise.
Also surprisingly cheap for a long weekend with tons of great airbnbs etc and everyone speaks (and appreciates) English unlike Paris and to an extent Barca.

Highly. I spent a semester there last year.

It has everything you are looking for: fantastic food and drink; great nightlife; gorgeous views; and some of the most iconic tourist attractions in the world.

I would stay in the city itself and use Uber rather than the métro if there are a few of you, in order to get the most out of your stay.

There is a Celtic Supporters Club at The Harp on Boulevard de Clichy. My friends have a tapas bar called Un Vinito? on Rue Réaumur which is outstanding, as well.

Let me know if you go.

Every one of those cities has something good to offer! But pardon my bias and I know it wasn’t part of the original list, but may I please highly recommend :bye1::

Love Berlin and Barca, but Amsterdam is still better in my opinion. Sound folks in all three though.

I’ve been to all of those cities.

Berlin for me. A real melting pot of cultures.

Milan Is a dump. Best thing about it is that is near lake Como

Brussels is also lifeless. Go to Brugge if your going to Belgium or Ghent

Marseille is historically interesting but it’s very run down. People ain’t so welcoming

    Barcelona is a great city

Paris has sold its soul, if you go there stay in the east of the city and visit Père Lachaise Cemetery

Jim Morrison & Oscar Wilde are burried there to name a few.

Go Paris, sounds like a great place to be this time of the year.

Pack a high viz just in case.
