    Before Thailand was 176lbs

10 days later weighed myself last night 193lbs :giggle1:

    190lbs as of this morning.

As always I suspect now that I’ll not be drinking and eating slightly less the bloat and water will go away so probs drop another 6lbs this week.

Goal for 29th December is to be 160lbs

Back to the gym tomorrow and after this week once I’ve finally moved into my new flat I’m going to start to train twice a day as much as I can.

Mate, how do you do it?

Would you mind sharing a typical couple of days food diary and weeks’ worth of gym work, if you don’t mind me asking?

    In the simplest form, drugs.

Still need to train like * and eat good but losing 30lbs in 7 weeks cannot be done naturally nor is it really safe or healthy.

    Haha, no worries.

I’ll give that a miss. Unless there is a drug that can motivate me to do cardio :84:

Just finished watching that Ronnie Coleman documentary on Netflix, pretty good insight seems a great guy.

Although the entire documentary was about hard work and gifted genetics I must have lapsed in concentration for a brief moment as they mentioned a boat load of steroids.

The Rich Piana stuff in Generation Iron 2 was as honest as they come. Fair * to him the way he went about things, was prepared for what was coming.

I watched The Perfect Physique not long back but got a bit bored of their stories so switched it off, plus I kept crying every time I saw Greg Plitt

Yeah same with the smashing machine documentary, no frills about it tells the way it is.

Hate it when they try to ignore the big elephant in room, yes of course hard work and genetics plays a massive role but one major key ingredient to make it work is always left out.

Eased myself back in gently this morning with a 30 min steep incline walk as the jet lag has finally caught up with me today.

Starting at 2400 cals a day, will play about with fats/carbs as I go.

Will gradually drop this down as the weeks go on

Just going to continue with steady cardio sessions till maybe Saturday then hit a weights session.

    190lbs bang on this morning

Been making some homemade protein powder, seen it on another forum.Tried it today pretty good actaully.Quite nutty.
Half a cup of brown rice.
    Half a cup of quinoa
    Half a cup of oats.

Works out about 190 g eatch.Blend rice, qiounoa, oats in a blender, til u get a powder..Gets you about 6 shakes worth. With milk you get about 30 g protein per shake,i think.Add bana, honey to sweeten them up.Keep your powder in airtight container.Going to make bigger batches.Cheaper and better than the chemical laden commercial *..100 percent pure no added sugars, chemicals, fructose etc.

    Give it a bash bhoys.

Back at it hard this week in the gym.

Back to the intermittent fasting and paleo the last two days too, eating between 12pm and 10pm, drinking nothing but water and cherry bakewell flavoured green tea, done a heavy fasted workout this morning and broke it at 1pm with 4 bacon ribs and 6 roast chicken drumsticks.

Feeling decent, full up from that anaw so the only downside is having to force myself to eat hunners a * chicken, brown rice and spinach

    Hey ho...

Always wondered what the appeal of intermittent fasting was? What are the benefits?

Lotss of scientific facts around it, some doubt over it.

I feel it gets my metabolism up, helps me grow muscle quicker (im sure there's proof it boosts your HGH levels) keeps ye more alert and focused, and drops the weight off me quicker etc etc...

People have been doing it for thousands of years, buddhists and so on.

Not questioning the legitimacy of it.. heard plenty of people talking about it like Joe Rogan. I was just unsure what exactly the benefits were. Might give it a go. Would you say you've noticed a difference?
