    Probably a Bulldog.

Love big giant dogs as well but doubt I’d get one for my first.

Cheers pal,yes i kept Jasmine's ashes,i originally thought i would scatter them at her favourite spot, but instead i have kept them in a lovely Casket on my mantlepeice with a few of her things. It is a fitting tribute to her,i will never forget her,now i am very close to Ruby Boxer. The way i look at it if Ruby could live another 12 years i would happily go with her and we join Jasmine buried together.
You are spot on to plan ahead, and it really is a shame that Dogs do not live longer, the quality and love they give us,they should average atleast 20,but such is life.

Yes it is horrible when our Dugs get ill and you are doing the right thing. And a very important thing is she knows how much you love her and that matters so much.

She is still running about like when she was younger, but when standing still her back legs are shaking badly. As I said she’s not going to suffer as she’s my other daughter and has has a good life, but I will be lost without her.

My dog has had arthritis for about 5 years now. What medication have they gave you ? Metacam or similar ? Try green lipped mussel capsules and glucosamine as well as the medication from the vets.

    * to hear amigo. I still fill up thinking about my legend of a dog who was put to sleep about 10 year ago. Had the in-laws lose one too a couple years back that was brutal too.

Good to hear you are thinking about her though and not wanting her to suffer. Just wish so much they could speak sometimes and tell us how they’re doing!?

Hopefully the meds do the trick and give you a fair whack more time yet :50: mon the dugs!
