Brilliant to see Super Leigh signed up for another 4 years. His attitude and commitment has been first class, he's the sort of guy I love to see in the hoops, you can tell it means a * of a lot to him to play for Celtic. Of course he has the talent and goal scoring ability to go along with it

 

should have started the game, we need to play 2 up front as Edourad is useless on his own

 

LG: We played a large part of the game with ten men but we still dominated the game. At times you’re not going to get those clear cut chances so sometimes you need to take those half chances.

Hopefully gets an extended run as a two up top with Edouard and between them we can find some goals and some form.

We just can't do 1 up top any more with Dembele gone.

Ineffective from the bench. He really needs to be starting games like tonight.

 

He's looking very rusty. Think the persistent injuries are taking their toll. When he's fit he's used sparingly as well. All adds up to a misfiring striker. More game time will be coming his way now Dembele has gone, really needs a to kick on.

 

Not on the basis of his performance when he was on.

Touch like a trampoline, cleared the stand behind the goal while 6 yards out, set-piece delivery wasn't tremendous either. He needs to seriously up his game.

 

Personally i thought that his disallowed goal at the death was an absolute worldie, just wish he had made more of an effort to get back onside.
The first touch with his chest to control the pass was top drawer and finished emphatically.

That in a nutshell sums Griffiths up. Capable of flashes of brilliance, but maybe just cant sustain the work rate/attitude/effort/focus (whatever applies) to be a cut above.
