    Utter bollocks.
You’re talking about a double treble winning manager, first season was undefeated.
He’s been * over by Lawwell, just like Lenny and MON were.
Not saying he’s perfect but some of the comments here are disgraceful.

For those who are in love.....
    Can't inspire his squad..

Well he was setting team and individual goals every other game during the invincible season to keep them hungry so that's nonsense..

The truth is, we're in a bad spell at the moment. A worrying spell considering we barely have a defence. It's really Rodgers' first crisis....but none of us know why we're in this drastic a state early on off the back of another treble season..

I believe it's a whole host of reason's off the pitch and on that have led to this mess..

We need it to turnaround quick in this next week with 2 wins and at least 2 signings before the huns game to get a bit of feelgood factor returning..

All that and then pumping those orange *, looking forward to a decent draw in the Europa, and it will start to look a lot better..

I know it's no the night for it but better time's are coming..

He picks formations that are baffling at the moment. Constantly changing players. He's trying too hard now to rotate. If he thinks Hendry and ajer are the way forward then play them constantly until they have an understanding, when's our back 4 the same. Hardly ever. We're missing that passion and want to win. Is that his fault? Is he not getting them fired up enough? One thing about Lennon and his team's they get stuck right in. Rodgers team at the moment bar broony and izzy has no fight. We get no yellow for being *. All too pampered we woman on our team.

Will he get it right? Yes.

Will we all moan like we woman on a period? Aye.

Is talk celtic 10x magnified what the usual fan thinks? Aye.

Is lawell to blame? Aye but is that blame because he's trusted Rodgers too much bringing in scouts that's by all means have shady * scouting records? Could be. Why else would we go for McKenna. Ffs.

Am I blabbing on a load of *? Probably but I'm pished so * it.

Blaming the board a couple of weeks ago, now putting the blame on the players.

Frightening how similar this is to his last season at Liverpool.

    Working his ticket.

The man has won 6/6 domestic trophies, not lost a single Cup Tie..

Athens is a deep wound we’re still coming to terms with, it’s still raw and coupled with a terrible transfer window thus far it’s made for a toxic mix..

But some of the * posted is over the top, no doubt. He has his first testing time as a Celtic manager let’s see how he and his side respond.. he’s earned a bit of patience and respect..

Comparing now with his time at Liverpool is pointless, his two seasons here are absolutely nothing like his time at Liverpool where he won nothing.

really?! I'm not sure if you have been living under a rock but the english premier league is a little bit harder than beating the likes of aberdeen and motherwell in cup finals- teams that have about 20x less budget than ourselves.... Rodgers seems to be out of his depth when it comes to setting up the team for europe. Rodgers should be the first one (including the players) responsible for drawing with a pub league side from Lithuania, the board has backed him enough to beat pish like this.

How many of congertons signings started yesterday ? 1- Ntcham. the fact that players like compper, hayes, kousassi, bitton, hendry, benyu, allan, christie are all on the wage bill is disgusting and were flushing money down the drain every second. Those players right there cost 7-8m yet not even on the bench, the team we just played have spent 0 on transfer fees in the past 4 years. Wasn't it his third season at Liverpool where he got sacked? Maybe he has the same syndrome as Mourinho- it all falls apart in their 3rd season- https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45246149

Genuine question out of intrest as I also think he has earned a "bit" of patience but just exactly where do you think it becomes untenable or if indeed it ever does.

Ahh, the usual paradox that defeating the semi professional, pathetically unambitious opposition we have in Scotland, teams that altogether cost less than Ntcham, is somehow a fantastic achievment but when a team that is much richer than us gets 7 goals past our defence this is completely fine and should be expected.

Furthemore its not true he "won all qualifying games". He lost to a * Gibraltar team already in his debut. Games against Hapoel Beer Sheva and Fc Astana became thrilling affairs in the second leg despite an advantage of 3 and 5 goals.

Yes, the board is a cancer. What is he doing about? He made them sign his pal Lee Congerton that does nothing, earmarked disgraceful signings like Hayes, Hendry and De Vries. He doesn't do scouting, he doesn't know a single CB we can target in the planet. Last time we needed a goalkeeper we went for an UVF sympathizer at Motherwell and got rebuked.

Also the people who are the most vocal about him are even more * at the board. It wasnt a few weeks before this that anyone here criticizing the scum saboteur businessmen we have at the helm were ridiculed before we were proven to be right.

    Looks a broken man.

It’s a worry that this period has been his first real test as manager & it’s turning into a * nightmare.

That has to be up there with one of our worst results ever last night. Embarrassing.

Brendan needs to take some of the blame, this Boyata situation, if rumours of a £9m bid from Fulham are true then why the * did we block the transfer? We could have had other targets in that actually want to play for the club, this tension may be having a negative effect on the team as well. What a * * show.

I think that Brendan hasn’t been happy in his work for the last few weeks/months due to the transfers, boyata situation and whatever behind the scenes differences he has with the board.

It just looks like his whole demeaner has changed, and that flows down to the team, of course now we are scrutinising every mistake made, from passes that go astray to positional frailties by the defence.

This adds to the pressure on the team and now they are afraid to make mistakes so sit off the opposition and go deep into there own half, last night we played an absolute * team but the defence sat to deep at times due to there nervousness and the gap in between them and midfield was caused the issue with the midfielders being turned the chasing and giving away fouls. ( the goal was Gordon not coming of his line and dominating his box again scared to move in case he misses and is critisisef for it. If we had been playing a better team, this would be a worse morning than it is.

And of course the media are loving it and that just compounds and adds to the situation, to the extent that Brendan sent Davies to his press conference last week, also we have fans that are so used to winning everything that when we go into a slump it feels compounded and turned into a disaster

I lived through the 80’s and 90’s when they Mordor c#nts were flying (and we all know why now) and we were not only second but third rate. Like anything football is cyclic the wheel stil spins and we will come good again the best thing about it happening now is we can fix it, fresh faces and some good good performances and we will be back to winning ways.

Positivity that’s what we want to see from Brendan as they say leaders come to the front not when it’s going good but when it’s going bad Brendan is out footballing leader let’s see what he’s made of.

Amazing that people are already on Rodgers', yet Peter Lawwell has gone largely unchallenged in rapidly regressing us since he walked in the door a few months after Seville.

Posted in another thread already but he needs a bit of confidence himself and some some belief back. Hopefully smashing the Huns will give him some swagger back.

He lost in the Europa league knockout round.
You can probably count the qualifiers for the European tournaments as cup competitions as well.

And I’m not a fan of this ‘he’s earned this or that’ patter.
If you * up at work and are doing utter * you get the boot.
You don’t get ‘ah but he hasn’t had a day off sick in 14 months and he’s always on time’.

You are judged on how you are performing in the here and now. Not on nostalgia.
That’s how we end up in the state we are in.

Its obvious something isnt right with the board and BR.shouldnt surprise anyone with * tories on our board. They did the same with MON and NL. made shitloads of cash and when they asked for funds to enhance the team the pursestrings were shut. This lies squarely with our board.simples. john james and phil mac said BR was for leaving in july due to this *. Cant see why they wouldnt be right.last nights presser and body language tells you all you need to know.BR will see out this season and if he doesnt get funds to kick on next season he will be gone and * this tory board.10 in a row in sight and we * ourselves up.its almost like the board want sevco to get closer to us to get that rivalry and more bums on seats.defo affecting players too if they feel brendan is leaving.* this board.DD needs to be hands on with this and do some balls kicking and keep Brendan happy .* anyone else.HH.
