Enermously disappointed about tonights result. But we still do have Europa qualifier next week and something to salvage. Who do we want next week I dont know much about the 2 teams. Also read we could be in Pot 2 and anyone any idea how much we can earn from the UEL?

TBH the way the team is just now, EL is our level and until the board reinvest some of the millions we've raked in from player sales and CL the past 2 years, we'd better get used to it. Add the fact that UEFA have shut the door even more for teams from smaller leagues, it seems appearing in the CL will become less commonplace.

Wasn't to be in CL, getting really difficult now and guess we're not helping ourselves, maybe have to settle for maybe once every two or three years the way its getting railroaded, fkn 26 teams already qualified and how many champions are in that 26?

Lets hope we get a good run going and make a dent in this tournie.

It can be done. Look at Sevilla. They have made a habit of winning it and progressing deep into it. Still feel our squad as it is, isn't strong enough for a quarter final spot as arguably many of these teams are just as good as ours, if not slightly better.

The Europa League isn't our level; Zenit * us out of the first round last time and we've regressed since.

Zenit won’t be there this time.

So I guess it’s not their level either.

Need to take this seriously no point being arrogant the way European footballs going this will be our level for the next decade or so, strengthen the team and keep our big players and we’re as good a team as any in this competition.

That's no including the TV pool if we wind for and finish top along with ticket money the loss of CL money shouldn't be a blow if we sell boyata and jozo

Looking at the money if you add in the tickets sales from current euro games add in the projection of future sales tickets sales for play off and group games you are talking about nine million then add in the TV pool of 9 million then add on 6 million if we win play off and win group from four group wins talking 6 million then say sell jozo at 4 and boyata at 8 talking upwards of 34 million will we really miss the CL money..... Only if we wanted to keep to pish cbs

Looks like we could actually make some money from Europe without conceding an average of 5 goals a match
