    What a depressing statement

Boyata is our best - and he’s in the huff

Ajers by far our best CB.

Without doubt. Best in the air, best on the deck, no slouch. A little naive at times but that will come with experience and hopefully playing alongside a strong, dependable, experienced CB.

Boyata is 27 years old and still letting balls fly over his head in Champions League games or trying to nutmeg players when he knows he's last man.

Rodgers Admitted Hendry-Ajer are the best CB at that moment
Boyata has more experience but let's see

We won’t go into the EL. We’ll win tonight.

Ajer is very good but Hendry is better and more solid
It was obvious in second Leg at Trondheim and at Celtic Park against AEK

I'm bubbling with nerves but I think if I was a player and I seen my name on the team sheet I'd be right up for it.

There's almost a sense of us being underdogs that will allow us to play with much more passion and put on a display that we know we're capable of.

I don't have a good feeling about tonight, but I trust Brendan and the team to pull one out of the bag.

We have won away at Anderlecht, Rosenborg, drew at Man City and Monchengladbach under BR, so it's not outwith the realms of possibility that we go and score 2 tonight over there.

The worry is about how many we potentially concede.

I’d probably say Tierneys our second best as well tbh :56:

Boyata is the best in the air, by miles and thats why he gets a game. Physically our best centre back but physicality doesn’t mean he’s the best by any means.

It's all about the first two goals, if we get one of them then that puts the pressure on AEK cause we'll only need to score one more while they'll need two.

I know that's pure obvious, just saying how crucial for the confidence and pressure it's going to be.

Would anyone start Gamboa in a game like this?

Not too sure on him defensively, but his pace going down that right wing could be a potential game changer.
