    Of course..

He's a great wee player, particularly for our level and will still improve loads..

Been unlucky with 2 injuries in his last 2 season's..

100% deal please make it happen pete , if we only bought Edouard and Roberts this window i would be more than happy talking 20m ,but at least bringing in genuine young class with all their future here ..rather than Comppers of the world.

He was asked a loaded question and answered as politely and professionally as possible.

    Lets all move on .

He’s still not linked with any moves and won’t be given a chance at City, so I don’t see why not.

Not going to get my hopes up but I'd take him back on a permanent deal.

I absolutely love Paddy Roberts and was desperate for him to come here just like everyone else.

    However..

The injury he got last season seemed to really hamper his development. He lost that extra burst of agility he needs to get past his man.

We’ve also seen a tactical change from Rodgers which doesn’t suit Roberts at all. Roberts benefits from receiving the ball in the final third with a fullback overlapping and an option to move inside. Rodgers is now expecting him to pick it up from the halfway line and toil his way up the park, which didn’t work last season. Forrest is much better at this.

I would definitely take him back, but not for the money we would’ve paid last season and only if Rodgers will adapt his tactics to suit him.

If he’s open to the possibility it’s up to us to make it happen.

If he would be bought play on the left. Forrest has been in good, consistent form. I wouldnt like to see him dropped at this moment in time.

I still think his vision and weight of pass would suit him well in a No. 10 role. He's very different in stature to rogic but has the same quick feet and finishing - those two with McGregor on the left, and Jimmy on the right would be a deadly forward lineup.

Would absolutely love us to sign him permanently, people have short memories as the form of Forrest and Paddy's injuries last year made it easy to forget how good he was under Ronny and in the invincible season. Huge potential and if we're willing to stump up the cash I think (hope) he'd come back.

All depends on his options at this point - if it's another loan or bench warming at city I think he'd sign for us.

I'd put in a £6m bid right now, with add ons and see what they say.

Last season he was so unlucky. His quality is still there and he is only 21...we'd be mad not to consider it.

He also loves it here, depite the fact he says he wants to try his luck down there, that is natural. He could come to us for another 4 years and still only be 25!

    Pls.

To stay in the game and progress as a club these are the type of signings we need to make , loans are all well and good but making him and edouard permanents is a whole new level he's proven here and a sound investment.

    Yes. Easy.
