    Valur won't put out Rosenborg.

That being said, there is probably no better time to meet RBK than now. Their form is dipping and many of their supporters want manager Ingebrigtsen gone sooner rather than later. Hopefully he'll cling on to the job until we've knocked them out.

I'm worried about the qualifiers this year, all it takes is one bad game to put you out. To put it in perspective we played 5 games to win the Scottish cup, we have to play 8 to qualify for the CL groups. It's mental.

Could also play Griff off the right with McGregor or Sinclair on the left. Or McGregor on the right and Eddy/Sinclair on the left.

    There's Christie as well.

Have we ever qualified for the group stages three years on the trot?

Just not used to everything going our way, there is usually a bump along the road somewhere.

4 two legged ties in fairness. Don't think you can have too many complaints getting beat over two legs against this level of opposition

06-09. We only played 1 qualifier for it though.

Oh aye, that's right. The good old days when we either just got straight into the group stages or only had one qualifier.

    * Rosenborg in the second qualifying round. UEFA are a bunch of dicks.

Not that Rosenborg are world beaters but it wouldn't be a massive shock if they were to beat us, and then you've got another two rounds of qualifying against teams of a higher standard than Rosenborg.

Just * have the 32 teams from the top five/six leagues because that's what they * want for their Champions League.

Good afternoon, laddies and gentleboys!! My name is Narek and i come from Yerevan and i have a card for my love of Alaskert. I hope to bid you good tidings and may the best club win. I hope you enjoy your trip to my country. I'm sure some of my brothers who stay in Glasgow will be on soon to send you much love. :fear:

And so it begins again......travel and heat works both ways though....win it by a couple over both legs.

Feckin bring them on! Play the celtic way and very few teams in these qualifiers could handle us. Can't wait to get the Celtic back, already feels like ages...world cup is pish now!

Hopefully the potential of Rosenberg will get the club to sign a few bodies

Didn't realise it was that bad there weather wise... https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/tenday/l/AMXX0386:1:AM

Looking there it's pretty much guarenteed to be about 35 degrees  the furthest you can check is up to the 3rd of July where they are predicting 37 degrees

They should be a decent side as well mate, knocked St Johnstone out of the Europa league a few years ago pretty comfortably. They’re not the usual part time * we normally face in the first qualifier.

Difficult draws but if anything this should spur us on to make good quality signings now. No excuses.

Can someone tell us home and away first of the first 2 game's and our likely opponents after?

The Armenian game will be a doddle. Just travelling that's annoying..

Rosenborg honestly don't worry me. We were well off the pace. Makeshift defence and no striker. As soon as Griff came on over there second half he was causing all sorts of problems with link up and movement and obviously we got the breakthrough with Forrest..

If we're at it, we're through to the last 2 knockout stages..
