He does, but tbf after a season at Sunderland I would want to play for someone decent too, if I had his ability.

I hope Paddy is picking up on this. You can come here for a few years and really be a part of something, or you can be a Man City mercenary fighting for the highest bidder.

Surely coming here for a few years and being highly valued and allowed to flourish in your preferred position is better than playing right-back for a few games at Galatasaray or getting pumped every game at Sunderland.

Denayer is heading the wrong way on the career ladder looked good when he was here but has struggled to find his way with the loans he has been on since Celtic.

Denayer can eat the * out of my * for all I care.

Thought he was the bees knees after being made to look like a player beside the wonderful van Dijk.

The grass ain't always greener, is it.......JASON!

    Loan to Sunderland[edit]
On 31 August 2016, Denayer joined Premier League side Sunderland on a season-long loan deal.[36] However, Sunderland were poor and ended up being relegated. Denayer struggled to perform consistently and was often fielded in midfield instead of his natural position as a defender.[37][38] He was also hindered by a series of niggling injuries towards the end of the season.[3

But he was * for Sunderland too! If you are going to talk a good game, do it after playing one! I wouldn't want him anywhere near here again, this lad is going to fritter his career away.

The thing is the same scumbags from a shitehole where slavery is legal bought Girona, a club from a tiny town in Catalonia with very few supporters, to be a surrogate club to Man * and they want to dump Denayer there. Apart from being a club as artificial as one can be, Denayer would probably look forward to another relegation campaign with not so good stats added to his CV. Just for you to have an idea of what sort of football swamp they are trying to throw him at, their number 9 is Francisco Sandaza, that guy that couldn't get a game for the huns at Division 3.

This when Lyon made a totally reasonable and good for everyone offer but since this club is run by people used to whip their maids, * that.

A bit harsh on all the 17 Girona fans but all the rest of the story stinks.

If he can make some sort of amends regarding belittling his time here/the league then I would take him back.
His comments weren't that bad to be fair, hardly anything we don't actually agree with, but if he can smooth it over with a humble acknowledgement that his comments were a bit disrespectful, then reckon he would be a good player again for us. Virgil helped him a lot, but reckon Jozo could do the same, and Brendan is a * genius as well.

Manchester City have reportedly started to give consideration to sending Jason Denayer to Anderlecht for the second half of the season.

Denayer is yet to make a first-team appearance for City, and is currently spending his fourth loan period away from the Etihad Stadium since 2013.

The Belgian has made 11 appearances for Galatasaray but he has failed to impress during his time in Turkey and according to Fanatik, they may decide to end his spell at the club in January.

That would allow the 22-year-old the opportunity to return to his homeland in order gain regular first-team action, with just six starts being made at Galatasaray since the start of the season.

Denayer could potentially be in contention for a recall to City, with doubts remaining over the long-term fitness of Vincent Kompany and form of Eliaquim Mangala.

He hasn’t exactly set the world alight since going to Sunderland or Gala.

Would be a great player for Brendan I’m sure.

Didn’t like his attitude at times but if he changed his mind I wouldn’t be against it.

    Good replacement for Boyata :giggle1:
