He didn't give an exact timeline on Griffiths full return but Rodgers in last weeks pre match press conference indicated that Griff was getting close to a return.

 

Imo and from my experience Scotland supporters don't have a problem being described as being part of the Tartan army, because they have the sense to not take it literally but heyho.

 

I never thought the Irish national anthem would ever be booed at Celtic Park. Those * did it, so they’re huns in my book. And that’s not even going into the game that followed or even the history of the Scottish support.

You’re gonna need to add disclaimers to your generalisations of the Scottish support mate.

I don’t disagree that there are donuts in the actual official tartan army Scotland SC, of course there are. But I’m as fully fledged a Scotland fan as you’ll find on this forum and given that ‘tartan army’ is a term used for the collective, entire Scotland support, I’m not enjoying being labelled as a *.

Even just say “some”, or “majority” if you feel the need to. But don’t include me thanks

Yeah I’ll admit I’m generalising like *, but as a rule I’m off Scotland because of a large proportion of Scotland fans, who to me either are or behave like huns.

I know it’s a touchy subject with Celtic fans. But when I look at the history of the Scottish team, the SFA, the treatment of Celtic players etc. I’m left feeling nothing positive for them. It was the final straw with the game at CP a few years back against Ireland.

I know now it’s marginally better, but that element is still there in the upper echelons and a sizeable part of the fan base.

You’re a Tory. Your politics are the antithesis of what it is to be a Celtic fan.

I don’t care who you claim to support. But ideologically, what you are isn’t a Celtic fan to me.

 

i was at the game with my son in our saltire, drank in malones with the irish and had a great night. My parents are both irish but i love my country .I actually told a * to * up next to me who wouldn't stop his * about mcgeady, it was obvious with the booing of the soldier song that there's plenty of Huns in the scotland support but i went to the England game also and that was booed even more and those * sing that every week at ibrox.

So first the problem was all Scotland fans are huns, you get your * handed to you for that and now it's I'm a tory .. I really shouldn't have spent all that time in the Scottish Independence thread posting in favour of the union ...

Fyi, not that you need explaining, it will not be Celtic fans booing it, will it? It'll be people with no allegiance to Ireland. So to call us out on that is * idiotic.

 

I'm no Scotland fan ,can't be bothered with international football at all .
