Said it before but he was the player we missed the most. Always seems to pull something out the bag when It's really needed. Hopefully get him a contract extension soon.

Armstrong isn't the only one who scores belters all the time big Tom Rogic does it better, the big guy has a year left on his contract hope they sort that out soon and get him on a longer one.

The whisper in Oz was that he wasn't happy with recent game opportunities under BR and what was being offered.

To be fair to BR Rogic has certainly had his injury issues - spends a lot of time out most seasons. Could it be he needs a better fitness manager to get the best out of him?

I don’t think so, the medical science team we have just now is at the very top level of the game. That’s 3 different managers and 3 dofferent approaches he’s had these issues. Look at what they’ve done with Lustig and James Forrest.

Some peoples body’s can just be like that. Which is a * shame. I think he is noticeably a lot fitter under Rodgers.

Hopefully he goes on a wee run now until the end of the season.. he's so direct and dangerous must be a nightmare to play against.

Long-term he just doesn't play enough games. Will be interesting to see how it pans out, hope I'm wrong but can see him leaving the club.

Had a lot of it not to do with him starting at such a late age? Didn’t he win some competition and that’s how he made his name?

People on here say that but I don’t think that would make a major difference tbh.

I would be devastated if we lost him.

Imagine losing him, Roberts, Armstrong and Dembele in the summer window.

Certainly didn't look unhappy when he was getting it right round the huns on Sunday.

I've little doubt his contract will be sorted.

Aye all possibilities maybe Edouard too. If anything Rogic should be the easiest to keep.

We should punt Armstrong in the next window to get best deal for him.

Dembele & Roberts will defo leave.. could be a busy summer..

With a GK(to challenge Bain), RB, CB, LB, CM, RW, LW & maybe ST x 2.. yikes.

Aye it must be frustrating getting hooked in every game on the 60min mark tho.. I know he's getting his fitness back (seems to be always the case) but how can get 90mins under his belt if he keeps getting subbed..

He can play 90mins and still grab a glorious winner, like in the 4-3 game v Motherwell last season. However he does look to visibly tire in games after HT..

Would love him to stay as he can produce magic from nothing. Just wonder how BR sees him. Be interesting to see how it pans out.

I think that's natural though. Remember Commons having a similar situation happen to him back in 2011 when Forster was sent off at Ibrox after only about half an hour. He wasn't going to look anything other than disappointed, and certainly wouldn't have left the pitch buzzing. He was very much part of the post-match celebrations, and i think he still absolutely loves it here.

I'm sure he does love it.. but it may depend on what kind of deal he's offered. There's no doubt he's a player for the big occasion, which is hard to put a price on.

However when you look at the amount of games time he's had, is he an affordable luxury?
