Done * in Europe too considering the cash they were splashing.

Wee diddy team who no one gives a * about outside Scotland and Northern Ireland.

For me I didn't think anything could top the 1-5 annihilation last season, but Sunday has beat that.

Think the EBTs started in 99, but the truth is as soon as Murray became involved they were on the road to liquidation. The Hun fail to see he was the one that ruined them tho.

They won a Treble in 93 and also 99, but the 99 Treble was after the 9IAR team so I didn't count it :brendy:

On Sunday going 0-1 down so early and then 1-2, then playing most of the second half with 10 l would have settled for a draw so that was a good one especially with all the mouthing off that them and their Hun pundits were doing. Even some of our own were hanging out their arses.

Samaras game was special because nobody gave us a chance before it and it bought the big man another few years with us.

The 5-1 game has to be the best though as it’s the result you always dream of getting and put the filth down in the gutters where they belong

Here's what one of their ex-board members, Hugh Adams (who correctly predicted that they would go * up) said about them:

He is adamant that Rangers do not have the customer base to improve their financial standing through merchandising. "Rangers’ so-called global appeal is a myth," he said. "When I was there, we did an exercise which involved asking 50,000 fans on the database to recommend a friend or a relative abroad.

"A big response was expected - some were even talking about getting 100,000 names - because everybody in Scotland seems to know somebody abroad.

"We got back 2,800 names and three-quarters of them didn’t know they had been nominated. It’s no surprise that Celtic are officially the best-supported football club in North America, with more official clubs than anybody else. The difference is the Irish connection.

"Many Irish people may support Manchester United, Liverpool or whoever, but they all - every one of them - have an affection for Celtic. And, of course, Celtic also have a great Scottish following.

"The difference is that, while the Irish all have an allegiance to Parkhead, there are millions of Scots who not only don’t support Rangers, but actively dislike them.

"Despite the claims of international appeal, Rangers are, essentially, a West of Scotland club. They talk of supporters’ buses leaving from all parts of Scotland, but if you look closely, you’ll see there aren’t many from each area and they are not all full.

"This doesn’t mean that even Celtic will earn fortunes from emigrant supporters. There may be more of them than Rangers fans, but it doesn’t mount to the kind of income necessary to fund their ambitions. But Celtic have been, since Fergus McCann’s arrival, much the better-run club.

When we won there in 94. 2-0. Collins free kick and McStay scored a belter as well.

    That one.

Edit: Fans weren't banned for that match it was the 1-1 season before.

The 5-1 last season was sensational...but the game on Sunday tops it for me. Just everything about it was perfect, to an extent.

They were deluding themselves in the build up, cheering when they drew us in the cup, thinking they had the beating of us. Gifted them an early goal, fell behind again, went a man down, referee gave them every single decision...and yet we still came out on top. Plus all 3 of our goals were absolute crackers. It couldn't have went much better.

If I was to pick three it would be...

    1. 3-2 on Sunday
    2. 5-1 last season
    3. Samaras Sunday

Was he not funding the club with the bank's cash, prior to 1999?

Never seen that quote before :50: when your inbred fans show up to the Florida cup with confederate flags, you know you’re in trouble and scraping the barrel to show your staunch, worldwide support :67:

As for the thread topic - I’ve watched is there twice and we lost both! Genuinely cannae pick a fav I’ve watched on the tele tho...pumping them 5-1 is obviously amazing but sometimes the hard fought close ones are just as sweet!

In retrospect Sunday is right up there, that felt worse for them than a hammering.

It’s the expectation which is a killer :56:

I remember feeling confident before Sammy Sunday and I expected us to win, quite a surprise for me to see so many saying we were written off before the game. Maybe I was just filled with bias optimism.

The 5-1 last year was the most one sided I can remeber, although my fav was 3-0, lubo with 2 and henke 50

Brian O’Neill last minute header for a 2-1 victory was sweet.

As guys have said, any time we beat the deid mob in the 90s felt * brilliant.

These recent runs though are just great, and with the internet these days we get to proper lol at their misery a lot more and there is so much more documented celebrations for us to enjoy and hurt for them that they can’t hide from.
