No probs bud. Should have mentioned that in my earlier post to him, so good thinking that you made him aware of doing that. At least that way he guarantees himself a fair wedge.

If it was at Fir Park I'd risk leaving it and maybe even sitting trigger happy in play waiting for Well to go 1 up and putting a smaller amount on for a bigger profit on Accies or draw..

Just looking at the last 4/5 game's between the 2 at Accies and they're ridiculously tight affairs..

I'd do the Accies or draw beforehand personally..

The following is based on guaranteeing you a profit but also assuming you have spare cash at the minute to guarantee that profit mate.

You could open a Betfair account and lay Motherwell ( ie take someone elses bet on them winning)

Motherwell are now about evens so it is up to you how much you would want to lay off.

If you laid off £625 at ev's that would mean if Motherwell win you win £1254 - the £625 you have lost so guaranteeing £629 profit.

If Motherwell don't win though you wouldn't win £1254 but you would double your lay bet (- commission ) So you would now have £625 x2 -(5% commision 31.25) = returns of £1218.75 from betfair ( £593.75 profit)

If you fancy Motherwell though you could lay off less ie if you did it with £200 you would win £190 from Motherwell not winning and £1054 if they do.

    Hope that makes sense :giggle1:

Aye I’m definitely going to do that mate, not worth the risk, don’t like the fact it’s on Astro as well, when mwell are used to grass.

Aye that’s a cracking bit of advice, mate. Cheers! That’s what I’m going to do then, makes total sense to do it that way. I’ll have another few reads over that tomorrow, to make sure i get it right, then put it on. :giggle1:

Aye...the pitch, obviously being away, and a derby that's tight and the fact it's a lot of money to just let ride on it's own..

I watched Motherwell the weekend and they were impressive and Accies are woeful at the back so I do think they'll probably win but if you could do with over a monkey in the bank, take it..

Was gonna say good luck but it's a winner anyway mate. Then you're wanting it to finish a draw or Accies on the day just to prove yourself right..

Ignore Mac. He has terrible luck with gambling. :102:

If you take the right advice it’s not gambling. It’s guaranteed £500 - £650 profit.
I wouldn’t go for the favouring one team as if your bet loses you get less than £200, but I understand why st Pauli is showing you the option.

I don’t think I’m going to mate, would be so gutted if Motherwell weren’t to win. I know what you are saying, Hamilton are *, but there’s every chance they could sneak a point and i end up losing the lot. :giggle1:

Bit late to the party but this advice from @StPauli1916 is sound!! Don't really want to get drawn back in mate (got outa control for me) but you have alternatives to betfair too. Betfair will take 5% of winnings but Smarkets used to only take 1%??..don't know now. Also, If you haven't opened a Betfair account yet look about for the best offers they have for new accounts...you may get another free bet, enhanced odds or some other kind of freebie...worth looking about. And finally GOOD LUCK!!

ps- if Approx £630 is a lot to you, you definetely want to LAY MOTHERWELL as above.

Smarkets is 2% but there is less liquidity compared to Betfair which is by far more popular and has far more betting markets.

Yeah...I know! Maybe the 1% was the offer when they started....betfair would be safest for liquidity.
