Dont be silly, the sevco invested over £10m into there team while we spent half that. :fear:

The big difference is we stick to our budget, they buy now and liquidate later.

I'm sure on one of his radio interviews Brendan said he was looking forward to the break as it was his first real chance since pre season to work seriously on shape, tactics and new ideas, as so much time has been spent on recovery work due to the number of games we have had to play. So I'd guess it will be light trainng sessions with more ball work in Dubai.

Does anyone know what it's called when someone has an idea and everyone else just believes it? :giggle1:

Sorry MDN not been on. One week is fine (10 days would be max anyway) before cardio fitness would start to gradually drop. The aim of the camp isn't to run the legs off them like the old days, and the first few days are very very light progressing to increase in fitness work, tactics and shaping. The aim of these type of trips (unless it's pre-season) isn't to get them from zero to hero fitness levels (Even though tailored session a are provided to take away) as majority already have excellent levels of fitness it's more of an opportunity to allow sessions out in warm climate (without markers blowing down the road lol), team bonding especially new players, mental prep along with tactical as during periods of midweek games this is very minimal, away from all distractions, work on any rehab etc..... The week off allows the players to spend quality time with wife and kids and 'switch off' as much as possible with some going back home.
Replying from moby so apologises for grammer/spelling.

    The break is needed.

If we return and are still performing the same, then the excuses are nothing but a smoke screen. But, since there's a higher tolerance culture to accept these types of excuses simply because we have Rodgers in the dugout, I am no doubt under any illusions that many will try and defend unacceptable performances if it continues after the break.

    We must retain the Treble.

Evidence is only as good as how it is interpreted or portrayed.

Back to back trebles have never been done in Scotland, not sure about elsewhere.. but it would be a phenomenal achievement..

BR and the team are victims of their own success and what we have achieved since his arrival has been outstanding. They deserve patience when off the boil and it's clear they are fatigued.

So, your flippant comments are unwarranted and look designed only to provoke a reaction.

If knowing your statement (and your point of view) is nonsense, makes me a fool, then so be it. :giggle1:
