    Just got my amazon prime back so I'm back into this.

    Have to say, it is probably my favourite all time show along with GOT and BOB. I think it is underrated, even though that sounds silly given the amount of people who still watch it. However I barely ever see it mentioned up with the 'big' series. The amount of replies this thread has as well kind of backs up my theory.

    Anyway, can't believe Ragnar is gone. Well, I can. It was bound to happen eventually but I definitely wasn't prepared for it. Fimmel was brilliant right throughout the show, he'll be a real miss. At the same time though, the story just rolls on and it is getting more and more interesting. Now obviously switching focus over to his sons which is keeping me seriously intrigued, wondering how it will all play out.

    Lagertha is sure to die as well but I just hope it isn't too soon. Love me a bit of Katheryn Winnick. Good to see Rollo back raping and pillaging, as well.

    Also, querie, why did Ragnar go back on his word to Ecbert? About telling Ivar not to come back and take revenge. I know he still held a grudge for him allowing Ragnar's people to be slaughtered but those scenes really had me believing they had some sort of mutual respect. Obviously not.

    Followed this show right from the outset and I'm really pleased at what it has grown into. Stylishly done and every episode has me interested. Something only GOT has managed to do, really.

    It appears as though it will manage to keep going and going as well.

    Great show, watching upto the latest show as it goes, obviously huge change in the story, think maybe another 1 or 2 seasons at the very most would be enough though.

    Think the boy that plays Ivar is really good.

    Yes Series 4 really is Good,it lost its way a bit at the end of Series 3 and start of Series 4,but really has gone really good again,i am looking forward on Amazon this Thursday the final episode of Series 4.

    Season 5 is excellent so far. I thought losing Travis Fimmel would put me off but it has me more hooked than ever.

    Ivar is a brilliant character.

    Aye season 5 has been brilliant so far.

    Is it just me or is the actor playing Ubbe trying to copy Travis Fimmel far too much though ?

    I am enjoying season 5 so far which is great as I was worried that without Ragnar I would not like it. But good stuff so far. As an FYI the show has already been confirmed for a season 6 which like the current one will be 20 episodes.

    Most impressive thing about it for me is the seamless jump between character storylines. Other series struggle to keep it interesting but they do it brilliantly.

    Only GOT really matches it for that switch IMO. Walking Dead etc struggle.

    I stopped watching when they killed off Ragnar, I'll give it another go but generally think they made a big mistake doing that.
