    Great idea, of course.

However, I think rather than an auction they could do these things as a raffle. Fiver a ticket for whichever ‘prize’.

Give the average person more of a chance of actually getting to enjoy one of these things. It’s always the rich that are able to bid thousands of pounds for match shirts etc. I’m sure they would still make a fair old whack of money for the Foundation if thousands more gave them a fiver rather than the more privileged always ‘winning’ these things.

I think that maybe they should put a £5 onto price of Celtic programme with the number of the programme as the raffle number.
Do that for 2 matches would bring in approx £400,000 to £500,000 for the Charity.

CFC Foundation is great as are the causes they support - some of the staff there are just a pain to deal with. They are also often not responsive to inquiries - I can't tell you how many e-mails I've sent them that don't even get a response.

Still, it's the cause that counts.

Dont know but over 2 matches even 20000 buyers would make it more than they will get in the auction combined.
