    5 teams qualified via the champions route - Celtic Apoel Maribor Qarabag Olympiakos- only Celtic won a game and only Celtic did not finish bottom of group - only one to make Europa League
    So * well done bhoy s , too much negative

    Go for the team s in last 8 of champions league
    Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Manchester City, Barcelona, juventus
    Then maybe a Manchester United, lpool or Spurs
    Apart from 1 or 2, same ol boring *
    Europa s the place to be and where it's at
    Plus once we win that, straight into the group stage s for CL next year so don't need to go through aw the qualifying * next year

    I know it's tongue n cheek but see If we did win Europa league and went straight into champions league group stages, would that mean if sevco or the sheep were 2nd in spl they would get a chance to come through qualifying group stages in champions league
    That would be a laugh
    Honestly think they would both be doing well to get past the Linfield s and red imps

    Watching the CL highlights show just now and Roy Keane is basically mouthing off about Brendan Rodgers setting his standards so low that it looks like a great achievement to drop into the EL.

    Hope to * we get a favourable draw, go far and make some of these bawbags eat their words.

    No. The additional CL slots are actually for the CL and EL champions (i.e., it only comes into play if the CL and/or EL champion do not qualify through their domestic league).
