Perspective, it sucks losing by this scoreline...but remember this is a collection of absurdly expensive, best of the world talent, you can play your best and still get pummeled by these pricey *. Not fun, but you keep your head held high. On to Europa, absolutely no shame in that.

    Just cant get enough
    Hope you’re right mate.
Just don’t like this idea that you can’t say anything negative on here after a 7-1 defeat or you’re a * hun.

I'm gutted to lose as always but really not surprised or raging as some people seem to be.

The gap between us and a team like PSG is massive and getting bigger as money spirals in football, it's bigger than the gap between us and the rest of scottish football and we go into every game expecting to roll teams over, why get upset when a team like this does it to us.

We could go out and spend every penny of the CL 30mil we make this season over the next two windows and still be miles off a team like this, I'm not sure I've ever seen a team make it look so effortless against us, and that's including Barca with Messi at his best rattling us.

Europa is still in our hands, and going into this group did we honestly expect to take anything from PSG or Bayern?

We are -12 Anderlecht are -16,so do they no need to win by 5?
Ah no 4 would do it as it would be head to head and we beat them 3-0

But you do ignore the differents of the teams we meet, that is obvious with that comment.

Passing out from the back is the only way to play the game. Sorry but we are not regressing 30 years to play kick and rush football.

The only way we will get better at it is repetition, continually qualifying for the CL and buying a higher calibre of player.

It really has a lot to do with it if you rub your 2 brain cells together.

They pump teams with 10x our budget, can you really not make the connection with what im saying?

Of course im not happy, but im a realist. You’re a fantasist.

What a lot of hyperbolic nonsense. Brendan's European record is far from horrible and is clearly improving. In both seasons we've negotiated 3 rounds of qualifiers - rounds that have stumped every one of our managers in the last 2 decades.

We've been pot 4 teams on both occasions yet we:

Were undefeated against Man City in both games (currently romping the EPL)

Won our 2nd ever away victory in the group stages, comprehensively beating Anderlecht.

Were a whisker away from beating Gladbach away from home last season.

For a large part of the game outplayed the current 5 in a row German Champions.

He did also try to get a CB in and the move was scuppered after he failed a medical.

The idea we haven't shown improvement this season is ridiculous we were fantastic in Anderlecht and against Bayern and were really unlucky not to get at least a point. This time last season we were out of Europe altogether with one game left, this season we're on the verge of getting european football after Christmas for the first time in years and if we beat Anderlecht in the last game we'll have picked up 6 points which considering our group is a great achievement.

We've achieved our objective in the group , Europa league after Christmas. Yes we have had 2 spanking's and silly mistakes have cost us big time , but it's against a team who have spent what? 10 times what we have spent? It's a sore one to take, but everyone keep the heads up and look forward to hopefully another peice of silverware on Sunday. :50:

Have to say, some people are * mental if they "aren't too bothered about it."

Aye we all know PSG have superstars and we don't. That doesn't make it acceptable to lose 12-1 over two games to them.

It's * ridiculous how easily we can be got at. * off PSG twice and Bayern away.

I can accept us losing those three games, but I can't accept seeing us repeat the same mistakes and get massacred because of it.

    It's * schoolboy stuff.

    Perspective.

The Biggest teams in the competition are year on year getting further and further away from us, and it's all down to finances.

We're never going to match them, but we need to progress more ourselves, and we can only do that with yearly participation and gain the equity from qualification, and re-invest it in better talent than what we have.
