A lot of the left backs in that time came from decent teams but were just absolutely terrible footballers!

Edson Braafheid from Bayern Munich - played in the World Cup final that season too...

Made his debut for us, cost is 4 goals up at Pittodrie.

And the reason Brendan allowed Izzy to leave becomes clear.

The manager is always 10 steps ahead.

He's a bit of a tank like Ralston. Look at our acedemy boys like them and Tierney. Must do serious gym work.

It looks like BR is giving him a football education. He knows that he can attack but is now developing the defensive side of his game. Modern footballers have to be good at both. Just look at Sinclair and how hard he works to cover the left hand side. BR is turning Miller into a more complete footballer.

Tbh I can barely remember him at all. Like I don't even remember if he was good or bad as I can't remember a single game he played in or what he did, bar that goal against Rangers 1872.

I have noticed a real difference in build to a few of the boys:

Miller, Tierney and Forrest have all really bulked up in their upper bodies!

I know about that cause the Mrs couldn't stop going on about wee jimmy at the cup game 2 weeks ago

Miller got a bit of a Bale about him albeit his progression doesn't exactly follow the same way.

Personally I think he'd be better giving Sinclair a run for his money and we getin another LB, Miller looked one * of a threat going forward and was unlucky not score on few occasions the other day.
