Thinking of taking the family there tomorrow. Is it good, plenty to do?

Been up and down the west coast, from Ayr to Fort William. Want to try something different.

Was there the other day. Great wee town. Couple of other wee cracking towns right next to it. Shows were pretty good. Stunning scenery. Nice beaches, would recommend it mate.

Depends what your going to do.

If it's the beach your after, you are better stopping at aberdour, silver sands for that and then heading into Burntisland afterwards, it's only 5-10 minutes further on to Burntisland. The fairground rides will likely be up Burntisland now, plus there's mini golf, playparks and the beach.

There's a wee amusements just up the street and a decent wee chippy plus other food outlets. There's also the swimming, they have a couple flumes and a wave pool.

Only thing I can remember is getting the job sheet in the morning and asking "where the * is burntisland" - I was saying it like "burnistoun"........didn't realise it was pronounced Burnt Island

Burntisland is a decent little place. The rides are there during the summer. I was there before the school holidays and there wasn't too many rides. It's the usual stuff like Waltzers.

There is a decent swimming pool with flumes too. There is kids play park and an old fashioned crazy golf course.

It's a relaxing place that you can kill a day.

I'd still probably head along to St Andrews. Nicer beach and more to see.

I'll get postcodes for Aberdour and St Andrews and just wander around there all day.

It's the chip shop in Anstruther that's the most famous in Fife.

The queues can be massive at times.

    It's good.

You don't get scrunchie supper or chippy sauce though.
