People actually think we are going to rip this up & start again next season. the Desso pitch is hybrid, part grass, part artificial fibres. The artificial fibres will be added to the grass already down, next season

Different rumours on the TV's. Some say the are getting fixed & some say the are being replaced? I have also seen on here the tannoy is being upgraded. I hope so at it is shocking in the North stand, this is mainly when they are speaking through the Mic

The grass looks incredibly thin wouldn’t imagine that would hold up on a rainy day but then again they did fix the drains and other stuff

The weather on Saturday won't have done the pitch any favours, but it was definitely cutting up in places. At least one divot made more tackles than Bitton in the second half.

It will take another few weeks to bed in properly, it wont be perfect but should be better than last seasons.

Groundsmen will be fixing a few divots after Saturday, big screens look better but the tannoy still find it hard to hear what they are saying at times

Hope a week is enough time for the pitch to knit together and grow, rolls of turf came up in places tonight.

Aye some massive chunks took out it tonight, still needs time to bed in I think, it reminded me of Hampden when it kept getting relaid.

Noticed Gianluigi Buffhun complaining about the pitch at one point and stamping on it to flatten it.

Hope it's not something we have to put up with until it gets completed next season. Looked like someone could take a bad one on a couple of those patches coming up.

Aye I know what you mean, it looks the type of pitch players get their feet caught under, but hopefully it beds in and sorts itself out, doesn't help these early qualifying games right after its put down.

True. Hopefully it has time to sort itself out.
