    Aviva potentially unavailable due to a friendly between united and sampdoria.

    Really hope Dundalk get through. Watched the second half of the game the other night and there was little difference between the two sides. Rosenborg might just do enough at home though.

    THE draw for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League took place today (Friday), and should Celtic eliminate Linfield and progress to the next stage of the competition, they will be heading to either Ireland or Norway to face the winners of the second qualifying round tie between Dundalk and Rosenborg.

    The first leg is scheduled to be played on July 25/26, with the second leg the following week, August 1/2. Further information on the date and time of the ties to follow.

    Brendan Rodgers' side are in action tonight against Linfield in Belfast (KO: 5pm), in the first leg of their second qualifying round tie. The return leg is at Celtic Park next Wednesday, July 19) KO: 7.45pm)

    * me.

    Have just heard that if Dundalk do get through, then they won't be able to have their game against us played at the Aviva as there's a * cringey Mank Utd friendly being played there instead.

    What an utter embarrassment for twenty-six county soccer.

    Rosenborg will be a good test.

    Any idea if we are home first? I know we were drawn first but does that matter?

    Aye but didn't they use the Aviva last year for their play-off against Leiga?

    With the potential of Celtic coming to Dublin, they know very well that it would be a huge money spinner.

    Should beat Dundalk or Rosenborg with relative ease.

    They did.. Oriel needs a lot of work and won't be able to host the next round. They may move this to Lansdowne for money but I expect the team would be happier playing in Tallaght again.
    I would still fancy Dundalk to get through, they looked far better than Rosenborg the other night, Rosenborg are atrocious.

    Yeah, they will be left with a choice, I think they felt moving it to Lansdowne didn't give them any advantage.

    Don't know much about the Irish league, how good are Dundalk? If you dropped them in the Scottish league where would they finish?.

    Watched them during the week and honestly thought they have gone downhill big time.

    Suppose it as only one game but if that,s there standard now ,barring an upset id say we,d do them easy enough.
