I think psg will score in Spain so I can't see it personally. They were written off after getting beat in Milan a few years ago and went and spanked them 4-0 in Spain so it's not impossible, but I can't see it myself.

indeed, one goal and the show will be over. however PSG have been so frustrating to watch whenever I caught them. Also can't stand them. One or two early goals for Barca and this could get exciting.

If Barca had even gotten one away goal on the night then I would be giving them a half chance of progressing, but 4-0 will be too much to turn around.

    Tend to agree with this.

PSG dominated on Tuesday. Could see them going to the Camp Nou and scoring, even a clean sheet. Defensively they're pretty solid.

    Not writing them off yet.

In terms of this tie, it will be very difficult even for them to turn around, but overall there is still the core of a fantastic side there.

I think they need to address a few areas though. Most notably defence.

As much as I'd like them to, I can't see Barca turning this around, even at the Nou Camp. They'll need the full XI to have an 8/9 out of 10 type of game, along with hoping PSG aren't at their best.

I refuse to write them off just yet, if anyone can come back from that sort of deficit it's Barcelona, especially at home, albeit PSG need to have an off night i feel.

Barcelona 5-0 is 33/1 or Barcelona to qualify is 10/1.

Worth a wee nibble for me :giggle2:

Never, ever, write off that attack.

Doesn't matter how big the feat seems, they have allsorts of goals in them.

When you have players like Neymar, Messi and Suarez in your side you'll always have a chance. I could see them appointing Sampaoli, him adding a few players and they'll be at their absolute best next season again.

They were written off after Pep left and they lost 7-0 to Bayern, then a couple of years later they win everything under Enrique. They've got 3 of the top 5 forwards on the planet, Iniesta, Busquets, Pique and Mascherano who're all still top class players in their right too.

    Let The People Sing
Think folk have said this 3 times now (end of an era) in the past few years, yet still Barcelona manage to bring it back and always go on to do something else amazing.

La liga is back on, champions league is on. 3 weeks ago their season was dead and it was an end of an era. Now it's just a blimp.

Regardless of the second leg outcome, it's clear as day that this Barca team needs major surgery.

The front 3 are clearly all world class so no problem there. But in midfield you have Iniesta who is on the way out. Rakitic who, although I like him, isn't a "Barca" player. Andre Gomes is nowhere near good enough yet. Busquets is the only player who should be starting for them regularly next season.

The defence is a mess. No right back of any quality. The majorly overrated Pique at centre half alongside Umtiti who still has a lot of developing to do. Alba has regressed at left back.

They need a good few players.
