    Rodgers must be trying to do a deal with Liverpool- instead of £5m a year sitting on his *- say Celtic give him £1m per year ffs Mo Bangura cost more than that. He has saved Liverpool £1m per year-is this not waht is going on behind the scenes. Ie the compromise deal between Rodgers and Liverpool is what is holding this up? And ultimately it maybe Liverpool that make or break this deal. Celtic should put a clasue in like Ranieri got for winning the Premiership. Win as the Champions League and we will give you £10m via Barbados so you get to keep every penny :56:

    Not sure Liverpool are obliged to do a deal,as far as I know if he leaves of his own will he is due nothing under gardening duty laws but if,as reported,he is due £10 mil over 2 years,they may cut a deal to save money

    If we get Brendan I'd be happy with no players coming in. The squad we have if used well is more than capable of CL quification, being top of the league, and still being in the league cup.

    Come January Brendan will have had a good chance to assess what he's got and can then spend his funds wisely.

    I agree that we could use one but CKR is no all that bad IMO.

    Think people are seriously exaggerating the amount of new players we need. Especially with Izzy apparently staying.
    Only really need a CB (punt Ambrose) I think.
