In mid August it's usually at least 30 degrees even at night over there, that will be a big factor.

I like the fact that we play at home first. Gives us a chance to play with a bit of freedom without the fans being too on edge. Then, if we keep a clean sheet, we are well and truly in the driving seat no matter how many we score. 0-0 is a grand result for us at home.. Hopefully we win 2 or 3-0.

Looks like I'll be going to this as well and I've never been to a game where we've lost :86:

Aye, but over here, its 30 degrees fahrenheit, so it should balance out!

Just as a gambler, trying to be objective, id say it would be something along those lines. They are a decent team looking at their record, and managed to get by Olympiakos....who got 9 points in Arsenals group last year.

They and the 2nd place team finished a mile ahead of the rest in Israel.....but we have decent players and a good manager, so id give us the edge.

    Celtic just tweeted:

BR on new signings before Monday's #UCL play-off deadline: "Would really hope we could do something between now and the weekend." (1/2) (MH)

BR: "To get at least one player in for the deadline." (2/2) (MH)

Lol imagine needing players to get sent off and needing two penalties to win at home.

    We'll skoosh this :fear:

Their season doesn't start for another 2 weeks so we should have the upper hand on fitness and sharpness. Need a good 2 goal cushion going into the away leg as well.
Not the easiest draw but we should take them, especially with a few extra additions.

I think we will only get 1 player in which is a bit disappointing.

Was wanting a midfielder in too. CM/DM type.

Surely there will be the separate wildcard 'window' as well?

You pessimist you. The bookies odds translate to a 63.6% we will go through.
