Kind of gutted that this probably means we've been told we can't have Denayer.

Early would've been January, but I like this too. Welcome to the club big man!

I'll be excited when I see how well he plays in the hoops.

You all start out the same way at Celtic as far as I am concerned. Unless you're an aforementioned very special player.

Man City fans have been making jokes that they must have paid us to sign him, we'll see what happens.

Eems like an eternity ago he emerged as a young talent at city. Hopefully he can re-establish his career with us.

Only 24 and already gray hair...must be the frustration of sitting on the bench. Looks class in the pink shirt though. A bit of a preseason under his belt and he'll come good. :50:

agree boyata and VVD will be a strong CB pairing for the qualifiers provided they can gel in the friendlies . Would take Wilson purely as CB cover . I have a feeling Barry Douglas will be brought in pretty sharpish for a nominal fee as LB competition for Izzy . Get the business done early Celtic , about time we learned as you say .

what's this 1.5m fee that's being talked about, I thought he was out of contract?

I'm guessing it must be because he's been at City since he was 15 and this is some sort of compensation?

Think this signing can go either way, he'll either be excellent or shocking.

Man City actually tried to convince him to sign an extension.

There is a prevailng thought that although technically great this boy has serious lapses in concentration... that being said. This is a fantastic signing and £1.5 is an absolute steal.

He's come here to rebuild his reputation and stake his claim for an international place again.

    Happy about this.

I've got the exact same feeling. On one hand I think he could absolutely stroll through games with us, but on the other hand, I think he could be similar to Ambrose mistake wise.
