There's no * way he'd fit into Deila's system but if we could get him on loan I'd take him back in a heartbeat for Europe. Not half missed him this year.

Sammy would be a good signing for certain key games coming up.

We have badly missed someone with pace and power who can take people on. Would love this to happen. Love it, love it, love it. Would absolutely love it to happen. Man I want this to happen. Would love it. make it happen Ronny. And Lawwell. Love it.

I disagree Sammy is made for the left hand side in a 433 or 4231. I assume that you mean his apathetic style may not be suited to the high pressing that the manager is trying to implement, granted this may be the case but it can be coached. I think Sammy does slow it down a bit but we may need this, as you have said especially in Europe. He should never have left to begin with, id have him back tomorrow. No doubt about it.

Sammy had that something different that he could turn on. He was infuriating in a lot of games but he was a big moments player. He could score and overhead kick to win a game 4-3, he could step up to the mark away from home to put away a header in the last minute to win 3-2, he could stay calm on the ball in Europe, he could put the ball in the net in Europe.

He could turn on the style in big games - the run of the mill games he sometimes struggled, sometimes didn't. It was very frustrating because you knew what he could do but we have missed him in big moments this season.

    No chance, whatsoever.

I would take Brown Ideye though.

Aye, he won't press the ball. He just won't. He doesn't suit a fast paced game but he is something we've missed, definitely in Europe. A calm presence who can hold onto the ball and win a foul as well.

Was interesting to see he was the most fouled player in the group stages of the World Cup.

People have such short memories. He's a nice guy but a pish footballer who turns up once every 2 months.

Agreed. He sometimes struggled in the SPFL against blanket defences this is because he thrives on space. He was a real dangerman for us in Europe. I can say for absolute certainty that this wont happen. Check out Lawwels comments regarding young Robertson for reference.

He often turned up when we needed him to do, in the big games. Do we have a player who can currently do this? I would say no. Gudetti potentially yes, but he has not played in many big games for us yet.
