I rated him at the start of last season when others said he was * :fear:

Think folk were slating him despite him constantly scoring. He does look a much better player in central midfield than he ever did out wide.

At the very start * went into overdrive about him. Then they started slating him.

Funny that, play players in there actual positions and they play better. Next up Kris Commons and Stuart Armstrong.

Pretty unusual reaction for Celtic fans that tbh. We're not known for overreacting or anything :fear:

Not in the slightest . There is nothing missing from the technical side of his game , not another player at CP you can say that about.

Touch , passing, shooting , dribbling , two footed . He s the only one who has all of those attributes down .

He's * unusual for a Scottish midfielder. He has a wee turn of pace that is excellent and he's technically profficient. I really like him.

Been a big game player for us so far as well.

If his name was Machezzi and we picked him up off a pishy Italian team * would be jizzing about him just now.

But because he's fae Glasgow and a bit goofy he's not all that

He's more a Ramsey, I can mind how everyone thought he was * and Arsenal fans booed him. Mcgregor is the real deal, He'll grow into a top player.

    Really impressed with McGregor today.

Was never a fan of him at the beginning as I felt he just drifted in and out of the team, but I'm really starting to warm to what he brings to us going forward.

Giving the ball to the wee man and just allowing him to run is one of the most affective strategies we have by the looks of it! Seems to just eliminate opposition players with his pace and directness.

Also think his understanding and reading of the game is a lot better now. Good on him, and long may it continue. :50:

I said he was a 10 million pound player and got slated to *, but you really can see his attributes and what he does for the team, he's only going to improve - he can be a very special player for us.

If he continues to get his chance in the first team, he will become a very important player for us. He'll get goals too.

A £10m player ? Come on now. Never really been a fan of his but if he keeps his current form up and can hold down a first team spot, I'll be happy to take it all back. At this moment in time he should be first pick for a position in the centre of midfield.

You're talking about him like he's the next Lubo. He never will be.

Folk need to calm the * down with their opinions, in both directions; praise and criticism!

Will probably be in the line-up for the Killie game next week. Will be interesting to see if he can keep up his impressive form consistently enough to make the huns game.

Seems to see small spaces to sneak into aswell to get his shot like yesterday any other player would have just hit instead of what he done

He has to play in the midfield. I think he can be brilliant as a late arriving central midfielder I really do.

Deila has slightly altered his formation so that our 10 player is not quite a 10 player and not quite a midfielder. This season he had his best success in Europe doing this too, well if you can call two draws a success. But do it all the way dafuk. Play Callum as the most advanced out of him Brown and Bitton but do not let him occupy the space ahead as a default. Let Commons come in and basically play in the middle and let McGregor break from deep. This way We get extra solidity in midfield and Commons in a more natural role.
