Benalmadena is just up the road and I think that it's busier. There's a wee train station in Fuengirola take you there.

I'm going on a coach tour in Ireland this weekend :celt_2: Staying in County Offaly and will be visiting Galway, Athlone and Limerick :celt_2: Never been before so hoping it turns out ok.

I stayed in the NH hotel in Dortmund two years ago for a game. It's quite an industrial city so don't expect many tourists etc. but that makes for cheaper prices if your looking for a few beers in bars etc compared to Berlin/Munich. If you have time for other activities then it's well worth a walk through Westfalenpark if the weather is decent. Apart from that the only problem we had was getting on a tour of the ground. You can't book it online so just have to turn up as early as possible on the day you fancy doing it or as soon as you arrive in Dortmund. We went at 9AM the day before the game and couldn't get anything for the whole weekend. Luckily though once one of the shop assistants heard that we had came from Scotland for a game, she got someone from the tour/museum staff to put the two of us on a tour thankfully. It was outstanding, well worth it. :50:

Cheers mate. Aye i have read that its an industrial town and not very touristy, only there for a 2 days so not too bothered about that much tourist stuff. Anything i should look out for in terms of pickpockets etc, incase i'm walking about at night, from pub back to Hotel? Read that it's a safe country, i have walked about Barcelona plenty of times after closing time with no bother so guessing to just use the normal common sense.

Yeah using normal common sense will leave you with no problems, especially if you've been to places like Barcelona etc. Pickpockets tend to go wherever tourists go so i doubt they'll be any problems there. Been to lots of places and honestly never saw your 'typical tourist' except from people clearly there for the football so you can fit in quite easily. Walking about at night is perfectly safe, just act how you would if you went for a few pints here.

Had a short trip to Skye at the start of the year. Singapore in the summer and Colombia at the end of the year.

I enjoyed Lanzarote when I went, but I didn't actually get to see much of the island, sadly.

It's a long time away but I'm all booked up for Canada on sep 29th.
Fly to Toronto then on to Vancouver ,stay at a hotel around there for the night then hire a car and drive to a place called Smithers which takes a good day to do.

Apparently the scenery is first class...then I have 10 days on the Skeena and Berkley rivers fly fishing for Steelheads.

Place is full of wildlife including Grizzly Bears.:smoke:
Then if I have time and I haven't been mauled by a bear...I'm having a day Sturgeon fishing on some lake.

No doubt I'll be away before then but that's what's booked up for me so far.

    Sounds good.

I’m going to the US this summer and driving (first time I’ve drove). Any tips for care hire in North America?
