Anyone going to Cappielow tomorrow for the 2 o clock ko then back into Glasgow for the big one at night.

I might do it, could be a great chance to see some future stars on both teams.

Hopefully we will be able to stand on the terrace but probably they will only open up a stand or something!

    From Barcelona to Greenock.

That'll be a shock for the Barca youngsters :56:

Terrible decision by organisers to play the games on the same day!

Really? I think it's a great build-up to the big match.

I might give my lectures a miss tomorrow and come over for this. I'll be far too buzzing to be productive anyway. :icon_mrgreen:

I would think that playing them on separate days and at the actual home grounds, like the Next Gen Series would give the boys more exposure and a bigger and better environment in which to perform. For guys that can make it along to it I'm sure it would be a great build up but for those who are working etc it would make more sense to have it at night/evening on a separate day.

I agree, watching the kids against Milan was a good build up for the big one..

If you live local and had half a day off or whatever it's a great way to start the day..

Hope they get a decent crowd

Stupid idea playing it in some * tiny stadium when only unemployed folk and pensioners can watch. Going by their fans last week Greenock is full of hun * as well so the only fans there will probably be junkie loyalists.

Should have just copied the nextgen and had it at Parkhead with main stand open and £5 entry, you could easily get 10k or so for a game like this.

Yes before the game I thought all the Greenock area was tim but vs Morton there were hundreds of them doing the bouncy, singing TBB ect.
Fair enough they may have just been sad govanites who got a ticket.

Anyway it's a shame the youth aren't getting the platform they deserve. They'll probably get beat whereas if they were at Parkhead they would get the same lift the senior team get.

Fans do things for a wind up..

I've always been under the impression Greenock was/is a big tim area..

Yeah of course they would have milked their moment that's totally fair but I don't see how any self respecting tim could be standing in Parkhead singing The Billy Boys or doing the * bouncy :99:

Cappielow surface could give any teams a run for their money. Fantastic. Unfortunately the Barca youngsters will probably love it

Each to there own but with two thirds of the ground to choose from wouldn't any Greenock Tims be in the home sections?

So most Morton fans I'd assume were genuine fans of them or some Huns from there aswell with pals..

Obviously the Barca kids will be aching to upset thousands of internet bampots by proving that they can do it on a cold Tuesday evening in Greenock.

This is being broadcast live on Celtic TV - there's an outside chance there might be streams of it as well.

I mind when we played them a few years ago in the Next Gen tournament at CP there was about 10k there, a certain Tony Watt scored in a 1-3 defeat.
