I think it's their favourite team outwith Celtic or Scotland - to take some pressure off the kids who might actually support a team different to Celtic in Scotland, especially if it's Rangers.

If he doesn't make it in football then he should seriously consider a career in comedy:56:

Hes a Somalian refugee, been in the country for about 4 years I think - Tommy Burns campaigned to allow him to stay in the country because hes apparently the dug's baws.

He could play for Scotland in a few years :icon_mrgreen:

Well surely they wouldn't allow him to put Rangers, imagine how it would look on a Celtic site and it would leave the boy branded for his entire footballing career in Scotland.

Does anyone know much about this young Celtic player?

He is only 13 years old but played for the under 19 team last week against Inverness in the Youth Cup and played for them earlier in the season in a match to. Playing for the under 19s at 13 he is obviously good.

He is originally from Tanzania but moved to Scotland when he was young and lived in Sighthill flats in Glasgow. I think he may live in Castlemilk now although im unsure. If anyone watched that Programme about Sighthill on BBC a while ago which followed a couple of youngsters as their school was closing down because they were taking down the flats the black coloured girl who usually always had her little sister with her are his sisters.

He is a striker and the captain of Celtic under 15s and rumoured to be one of the best players who have ever been in the Celtic youth teams. He and Paul George a young Northern Irishman some may recall being paraded in a home game against Kilmarnock I think last season are said to have bright futures. Under normal circumstances Paul George would be considered a once a decade great talent and is but Islam Feruz is even a level above him again.
