Jiri Jarosik has suggested that he would be tempted by a return to the Premiership, with Tottenham reportedly interested in the Celtic midfielder.

Jiri doesnt seem 100% committed to Celtic. I dont care if he stays or goes tbh. Handy player but I think Bjarnsson could be the man to take his place in the squad next season tbh, he needs to get first team games.

I think Strachan will be in a position to get a better first team player if GS doesnt think Teddy is going to make it. There are alot of possibilities available to us, which is the good thing

Must admit I dont think big Jiris had a fair crack at the whip because of big Jans injuries but if he wants to go he can laeve if it wants, but I would like him to stay if possible

He may be better than he looks now but I dont think we would be loosing the sort of high energy player we need in the middle. He cant cope with the tightness and physicality of play in the SPL.

We are a better team than anyone in the lower part of the EPL and there are plenty of players there I wouldnt want. Surviving in the low reaches of the EPL does not mean you are a good enough player for Celtic. Some gems but plenty duds.

Spurs aren't a bottom half team, I think alot of teams would be interested in signing Jiri, I have no doubts Jiri would be a succes and is a cracking player but he is half hearted, so I understand why GS may want him to leave at the right price

    jonny_cfc_n01 know's what's up.

I'm not a fan of Jarosik, he taints my memories of Naka's freekick against United, but he's an attacking midfielder and not a striker or winger (where he's been played).

Although it's a humbling thought, pretty much any player who played for Chelsea (scum) or any Top 5 English team has to be at least half-decent in the SPL.

However I'd like to see him go - it won't make our squad any worse and it will bring in money and possibly a player.

To be fair when Jiri was playin in the EPL last season for Birmingham (in his favoured position in the middle) he was outstanding and scored loads of goals against good teams. I was delighted when we signed him, he hasnt had the best of seasons but i wouldnt to quick to let him go.

It has to be said reading that article that Jarosik doesn't seem very committed to Celtic. He has a no big deal attitude to playing for Celtic it would seem. I was one of those who was excited when we signed him as he had looked very good in a struggling Birmingham side the previous year. He has had a very mediocre first season at Celtic although he has come up with a few vital goals and contributions at various points and I was certainly of the mind lets give him a second season to see if he can step it up and produce on a consistent basis.
But given how he has played overall this season and his obvious desire to play elsewhere it would seem we might well be better off selling Jarosik this summer.

I'll be honest now, everytime I sae him come on or at the ball, I felt a chill down my back. I think he's unnaturally slow and doesn't seem to have a particularly useful strongpoint. I wouldn't mind him staying, but I won't cry if he goes. Especially if Spurs offer us a decent ammount

Qoute from Jarosik - "I am glad not to have been forgotten in England. I am an experienced footballer, I already tried to play in England and I will not be expensive."

Since when did he decide how much he should go for (if he goes)? As Catherine Tate would say - Its a * liberty.
