Has anyone been watching this programme. I like the concept, and have been watching it instead of BGT. The guy Jaz, from the last show was an absolute star.

From this point on I expect it to be fairly similar to X Factor, but the first few weeks have been really good.

Aye I've saw it once, the first week I think it was. Like the concept as well, but at the end of the day the risk they take for turning round is very limited due to the fact the acts are talent scouted beforehand. That bit is very exclusive rather than a pure competition.

And that Will.I.Am's an arrogant bassa as well :icon_mrgreen:

Best singing show so far i hope it stays this good though.

All decent singers and no time wasters like on the xfactor

I watched it on Saturday night. Actually liked it, even though I was expecting it to be pretty * and the same as all of these other singing contests.

Definitely needs more eye candy though. Jesse J isn't really much to look at, although she's still not bad. BGT has Amanda Holden, Carmen Electra and Alesha Dixon. They've also had Kelly Brook in the past.

    Get it sorted :50:

It seems to be more about the ego of the judges rather than anything else, why can't Danny O'Donoghue make his own mind up instead of continually asking others if they are going to turn around.

On one occasion a few weeks ago a glamorous young lady sang her song and nobody pressed the button but when one of the judges saw her they then said they wished they'd pressed their button, i thought it was about the voice and nothing else.

I think the format is drawn out and kinda repetitive and dull.

I kinda like the format of X Factor and BGT in that you get some * ones in as well to mix it up.

    Still, I keep on watching!

I've watched every episode so far and have really enjoyed it. The concept next week looks nothing like X Factor as singers will be singing at the same time against each other, battling against one of each other, so should make for good viewing.

Feel really sorry for this chap [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEzmFH6a37I"]Daniel Walker - Kiss From A Rose (The Voice UK Season 1, Blind Auditions) - YouTube[/ame]

He was out of this world!! Alot better than some of the singers that have already been picked. There's a few no hopers that have been picked that don't have much of a chance.

Love Will-I-Am & Danny. Tom Jones is obviously a legend but Jesse J gets right on my *! I just can't warm to her at all!! Proper grinds my gears!!

That video above proved to me that it clearly is a fix, why Will-I-Am would not choose him is beyond me. Dont buy his "listen to my gut" pish !

Some of the battles at the weekend were absolutely excellent. Some superb singers evicted and, as usual, a couple of donkeys get through that you don't expect.

    It's a good programme.

What I will say is, though, you have to either have a failed career, be a backing singer or be mates with a celebrity to get on it rather than the Joe Public X-Factor route.

Yeh I don't expect anything less from Jesse J. She managed to eliminated two acts that all four judges wanted! :97:

I'm looking forward to next week, but now I think it's going to lose it's appeal because it will be just like the X Factor. But we will see.

Second round is even more dull for me.

It's kinda like a glorified game of Singstar.

    Not feeling this at all.

I enjoyed one of the audition shows, I then found out the acts were scouted which ruined it a bit for me.

That's what I like about it. You don't get the mentally unstable on stage to be publicly humiliated by some music exec with a * complex.

    Utterly dull and repetitive.

Turned it off halfway through, its like X Factor without the fun bits.

A rare chanter, indeed - and what a cool name!
