Dallas was sacked for sending "offensive emails" about the Pope as I recall. * all to do with us.

Call me an ingenious association-trawler, but I think I can see a connection, in the mind of Hugh Dallas, between Celtic and the Pope.

Can anyone else spot it? :icon_mrgreen:

Neil Lennon behaviour is no different on the touchline to a number of managers in England and other countries throughout Football. The problem is he manages the best team in Scotland and allied with the huns gets the most media attention. With this come over analysis of his actions.

As he`s new into the job, he`s an easy target for media commentators. Those commenting wouldn`t think of having potshots at Wenger or Alex Ferguson because both would be happy to tell them where to shove it. This is where I feel he should point blank refuse to talk with the media.

As we have seen with Kenny Clark and Stuart Dougal in particular; his playing career hasn`t been forgotten. I think he has matured vastly from his playing days and yesterdays article was an example of a grudge being held by one individual. Indeed some of the nonesense from Clark was unbelieveable; Neil Lennon WILL NOT have been the only manager to critique a referee and yet Clark who claims to be sticking up to refs fails to mention others.

I give you Terry Butcher after Greg Tansey sending off; for a starter, Jim McIntyre,Stuart McCall,Paolo Sergio and Steve Lomas in fact virtually every other manager in the SPL at some point has had a go.

On another note which seems some people have forgot in this is that, this man has been attacked at Tynecastle and 2 nuggets sent threating devices to him .Kenny Clark nor Dougal,Charlie Nicholas nor Burley, Wenger nor Alex Ferguson, Mourinho and Guardiola haven`t even experinced that.

I know for certain that I would have walked away as soon as my life, plus that of his family was placed in the danger he has faced.

Yet some people on here and no doubt other Celtic fans are embarrassed by a few comments.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

No way does Neil Lennon need to adjust his behaviour, if anything he should be admired for how well he has conducted himself. I don`t see Neil Lennon changing anytime soon. So those whom are embarrassed; its going to be a long time of embarrassment for you. Hope you can handle it as well as Neil Lennon has handle the * thats been flung at him from all comers.

    No.

The governing bodies and referees of Scottish football are an embarrassment. The media is an embarrassment.

Without derailing the topic of the thread, sending a joke email about the pope is not evidence of a hatred of catholics/irish/celtic. I dont like Dallas but the whole email thing was just a convenient excuse to force the guy out.
