The View, Coldplay, Pendulum, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5, Plan B and a few others all put on excellent performances going by the TV. I thought the Foo's put on a show you would have to be a proper fan to enjoy and I thought the Monkey's were dreadful.

I'll be making my return next year either way.

Arctic Monkeys were absolutely on fire, as were The Strokes I thought who although I love them can be hit and miss live but I thought they sounded superb. Foo Fighters and Pulp pretty quickly got me on their side, only knowing a few songs by each but loved both their sets. Jarvis Cocker and Dave Grohl are genuine legends, and Taylor Hawkins is easily the best drummer I've ever seen apart from Matt Helders. Also saw Odd Future but can't remember it at all lol, was mystified when I got texted the next day asking about them bottling the crowd.

As Liam Gallagher said in his interview with BBC3 they did a run of new songs and the crowd went completely flat because of it.

Well *, if Liam Gallagher says it...

Just had a look at the setlist. The most new songs they played back to back was 2. Brick By Brick and Hellcat. Both seemed to get a decent reception as far as I could see. So for about the bazillionth time, Liam Gallagher is talking complete and utter *.
