Good to know hope they put out some free stuff for ex the vampire lord etc will get people back to playing the game

Theres a new update which will include new kill moves and kill cams.
I can't wait for this as I use the bow all the time and there will now be very cool looking kill cams for bows.

i love elder scrolls and like what they done with skyrim but morrowind still the best

 

I loved oblivion the best, like them all really, the only big problem I have with skyrim is that the main story was not that great and was too short

 

i loved oblivion too, the stereotypical medieval world was what drew me to the game, you could wander for hours just doing random stuff and it all felt so alive and amazing (albeit repetetive after say 200 odd hours) i had never played morrowind but wish i had at the time, i am tempted to get it but dont know if i could get past the low polygon models (im usually not one for caring too much about graphics, but i am for a "fps" rpg sandbox game like elder scrolls has become where immersion is key)

think skyrim is a huge disappointment, keep trying to find reasons to play it but cant really, i honestly cant think of many features in skyrim that are better than oblivion, they built my hopes up so much for skyrim but its just boring, the combat is still the exact same as minecraft and the setting is horrible tbh

 

Is this still popular? I never really managed to get into it at all around Christmas last year. My addiction to FIFA 12 didn't really help either

 

m8 people are still playing morowind, that was released in 2002

 

Love skyrim

my first game of the series so not playing the others i cant compare, but as a complete newbie to the series and story i found it to be epic and loved every minute of it .

 

Same as me mate, stopped playing it now though. I'll pick it up at somepoint though.

 

the main story was poor atleast Oblivion had an epic finish with him transforming into Akatosh and was a decent length, everything sub plot was pretty short too like the thieves guild that was mince compared to oblivion.

still though with every series they are dumbing it down to make it more commercial i think as with morrowind if there are those not to fussed on graphics and are able to get hold of Tribunal and Bloodmoon it is far more impressive.

saying that if you can get all the add ons for Oblivion for PC it is a very close second

 

I still have oblivion on my laptop, I might give it a play through soon

When's this DLC going to come out? It's taking them way too long imo.

 

I saw this got GOTY and thought tbh it was undeserving but then saw why it could have got it.

i found that bethesda released a creation side to game were you can create anything from NPC's like merchants, quests, weapons and armour and a host of other things literally everything can be done and tbf sounds like alot of fun and if i had it i could see myself never actually playing the game and wasting my time just creating so much stuff

 

It was nowhere near game of the year for me.
