Sky just get as much money from you as possible at the start and then will decrease it if you ask.

I got the exact same package as my neighbour but was paying around £20 more. So i rung them up and I am now paying £5 less.

Ill ring them up soon to try and lower it by using your excuse of the closed season even though im already on £5 for sports. Its likely that i will get it cheaper.

Out of interest, is there actually any football on in the summer?

The Pre-season tournements and national friendlies. Celtic are in the Dublin supercup but thats when the season is about to start.

I was going to get my dad to do this, but when I was away last week, he upgraded to sky hd! You think they'd just tell him to * off if he did this now?!

I've currently got my Sky for 1/2 price for 12 months, but I don't take Sports or Movies.

Do you think they would give you it for £5 a month if you don't currently have the Sports package?

You should get Virgin instead of sky.

Im with Virgin, used to be Sky and I pay £90 a month for the home phone, the cable with all the channels and I have the HD+ and a HD box, 50mb unlimited internet and a Samsung Galaxy Ace with 250 minutes, 500 texts and 1gb mobile web.

The mobiles seperate though its £76 for phone, internet and tv and the mobile is £14.05 a month!

Doesnt have the red button on sky sports though :54: but it does have free music on demand where you can watch any song, has karaoke too and catch-up TV that stores the full weeks programmes from BBC, ITV, C4, C5 so you dont need to use up recording space for things on those channels.

have u seen a handsome hun
phone up and tell them your quitting them.....tell them you've had quotes from other providers, virgin etc. and that your going to take the option of getting a better price for yourself......they'll put you through to another section who will offer you a better deal if you decide to stay with sky.

if you say your thinking about it...they wont do anything....tell them you have decided to quit.....they'll ask if youve joined someone else...tell them no. your waiting on paperwork coming from the other company.
