I wouldn't say that definitely, Neil tends to sign the best options he has possible at the time. Rather than target a weakness in the team, even if he may want to strengthen other areas.

Signings like Lustig is an example of that.

    I don't know what you're talking about mate....I can't see the picture :56::56::56:

Aye - still think we are lacking a player who can link between midfield and attack - especially through the middle.

ahhh, it was Momo Sylla :icon_mrgreen:

I actually think now Forrest is back, Commons being back soon, Stokes coming back soon, Hooper being able to perform there as well as Sammy, Miku and Lassad. Not to mention McGeough, McCourt and Ibrahim we're a bit top heavy in that deptartment as well.

I'd be getting rid of those two and bringing in a class playmaker

I don't think the transfer fee or wages of they two would get you a class playmaker.

The nearest we have to one is Kris Commons. I'm not sure we can get better than him without gambling, which is what we done with Ibrahim in the first place really.

The word class shouldn't have been used there, what I meant was get rid of those two because they are basically no use and then find another diamond in the rough, but it's easier said than done

Then I agree there, Paddy's never going to make it...

Ibrahim is one I'm unsure about though, he's basically costing us * all and from what I've seen of him there is clearly ability there. What age is he as well? 20?

Hmmm... if he hasn't broke through by then I would agree get rid.

Loan him to Hibs or something for the rest of the season, see what he has in him.

Thats what we should be doing with these type of players that are not going to get first team experience with us.

    Ibrahim
    Twardzik
    Mcgeoch
    Geroge
    Frazer

Man u have done this over the years and reaped the rewards

Aye, spread them out through the league. Try and get a couple into the same side.

Nobody can tell me that Dundee wouldn't be vastly improved if they had Twardzik, George and Fraser.

McGeough I wouldn't loan out though, he's on the edges of the first team for a good reason.

What his 5 minutes in the SPL the other week?

Makes it even harder for him now that Forrest is back

He should be out there getting experience

I would not loan out watt as he will get games but mcgeoch is a different matter

Would like the loan idea, then we could see them progress and judge just how good they are

Yes, the edges of the first team. Being in and around the sqaud and getting on every now and again at age 18 will do him better in my opinion. We're easing him in gently, the type of player that McGeough is can get a hard time at Celtic when he's playing off of the fans.

Easing him in gently is our best option I feel, I also think that he would be a getting more of a regular game just now if it wasn't for a few injuries this season. He'll be in and out the team by the end of this season for me, similar to Tony Watt.

McGeouch should be getting more chances, he is the kind of central player we are crying out for.

Not every week I feel but should be getting a game more often to bed him in and let him know what's required. If he has a Tony Watt-like impact then he can be let off the shackles.

The truth is he isnt & i think if he is not going to get the time he should go out on loan

I'd get rid of McCourt yes, as quite frankly, he probably won't ever get an extended run of games at Celtic again, but I wouldn't get rid of Ibrahim. Not permanently anyway.

I've yet to really see what this guy can do, but he looks quick, agile and creative from what I have seen of him so far. More one for the future, I think.

Thats why we should keep him & loan him out
