    He is a phenomonal talent spotter and someone Lennon leans on very heavily in all aspects of football.

    Has John Park ever spoken publicly on our scouting system?

    Gary Parker too, Parker plays as big a role in the signings and bringing through of youth players as Lennon. As Parker is also a great talent spotter and Lennon takes him everywhere when either going to watch the youths or scouting a player.

    His strikerate is perhaps the most impressive of it all. I take it that Park was also behind the failed loan deals/signings of players such as Braafheid, El Kaddouri, N'Guemo, Rasmussen just to name a few?

    We'll be lucky to keep a hold of him spurs and Liverpool have been snooping around him and based on recent performances I think a few of the top clubs will be having a look at him

    A bit harsh to bring up them, if indeed he was responsible for them, when you can easily mention Ki, Hooper, Forster, Matthews, Wilson, Ambrose, Ledley, Stokes, Mulgrew, Miku, Izaguirre, Kayal, Lustig and more.

    A few of us were talking about John Park on Wednesday night in the pub. Judging by the comments people were making, the job he is doing is not going un-noticed.

    He's done a brilliant job for us and, as I've said before, we should do everything in our power to try and make sure he stays where he is. He's one of the most important men at the club right now.

    He is absolutely key to what we are trying to do with the club.

    More valuable than any of the players in my book.

    Agreed.

    Don't understand why these Premier League clubs etc are wanting him as he wouldn't be that helpful there. He spots talent yes but the players need playing time to develop and at the Premier League clubs etc they just buy the players at their peak instead of developing them or at least they usually do. He could find them all the talented players in the world with potential but if they aren't going to play them then they won't get as good as they could. Here he has found all these talented players and we've given them game time to develop into where they are just now.

    I hope the club ensures that we can keep him at our club for as long as possible.

    I was in the pub last week & his brother was in,saying he virtually lives in Africa just now scouting.

    He said there will be another unheard of African boy in the transfer window

    Ive never met his brother before but some of the guys i was with knew him & confirmed its his brother

    :56::56:

    First guy that popped into my head when you said that, he's the complete opposite :56:

    I wouldn't say no to an Eminike type guy. Played the best against us this season, when you realise that we've played against Messi and Villa this season that is * impressive.
