James Mccarthy for Scotland?>>HE AGREE'S TO STAY WITH IRELAND!
RTÉ Sport: McCarthy rumoured to be courted by Scotland
Hes been pulled out of the Ireland squad with a "thigh strain". Read in the metro today that Burley is supposed to be doing alot to get the boy to change to Scotland.
Would be fantastic if we could get him, but can't see it happening.

SHITE!
He can't as he has played for the under 21's and had made his decision long ago apparently.

Na he can, until hes won a full cap. He can change his mind, although I don't think he will.

I'm sure we've played a former England under 21 before, have we not?
Aye it was Quashie. He made 4 England U21 appearances. Matteo did the same.
I thought he had made his mind up as well though.

Aye he can by fifa rules i mean he can't as in theres no chance he will change.
Also if he really wanted mcfadden could play for england etc, but fifa would ban him from international football for years.
Look up puskas and di stefano for more details.

Guy has made his decision.
I just hope the media and the section of bitter fans leave the guy to it.

I hope so as well. I hope he doesn't get the same treatment as McGeady

I don't see what everyone sees in him tbh.
there's just a lot of hype surrounding him because he's in the first team at such a young age.

Or that he took apart a liverpool reserves team by himself when he was 15, bulleted a 30 yard shot past dudek and impressed steven gerrard.

So scoring against Liverpool reserves from 30 yards makes you the next Zinedine Zidane ?
you must admit though, the scottish media are overrating the lad to fuck.
at 17 wayne rooney was already a worldwide star.
Oh yeah, and the same steven gerrard who thinks Liverpool have a chance of winning the EPL and also thinks Jamie Carragher is the best defender in England.

It does when you are still in school.
Well walcott, rooney etc have and will be overrated to fuck.
If he was in the man utd youth system i think you would say otherwise.

Man Utd have better youth stars than him, and i don't go on about them...
I've known about some of the lads that are coming through for united for years, Like Rafael and Possebon mainly, as they are featuring regularly for the first team now.
and Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott both appeared at an early age, and the media jumped on the bandwagon, but they've proven they are quality players.

He was bought from Internacional by Manchester United in January 2008 for an estimated €3.5 million.
He has made 2 appearances so far, regular my arse.
And walcott still has a shitload to prove, a hatrick against croatia means nothing if he is shit for arsenal

I'll be honest, the only hype i've heard is the fact that Liverpool and Celtic are/were/might be/whatever interested in him.
Nothing the media, Hamilton Accies or the lad himself can do about that.
