Do Arsenal have any ambition to win the EPL again? Or are they happy being a feeder club to Europe?

Arsenal fans aren't happy about this at all and i can see why.

Gallas is getting slated from every angle for his lack of leadership, by getting shot of Senderos (even for a season) it leaves Silvestre as the only other viable option beside Toure.

Unless he's lined up a quality centre half i can see Arsenal struggling to retain their top 4 place!

If Djourou or Song are considered first picks they really do have cause for concern!

they still have djourou, and any other youngster that we do not know of. one player you should look up is jack wilshere, he is only 16 from arsenal youth to first team training now, missed out on reserves, look him up on youtube.

the ambition is still there. this is what everyone said last year about arsenal finishing mid table and looked what happened last year, leaded top until injuries occured.

Senderos ain't that bad. no worldclass defender but ok.

Djourou might be on his way to a french club.

According to Arsenal fans i've spoke to Senderos was brilliant last year whenever he got a chance! They're sick of inept Gallas performances as well.

I'd still say he's a level above Djourou and Song, you can't rely completely on youngsters if you have any ambition whatsoever to win titles.

You speak to different Arsenal fans than me mate, all the ones I talked to didn't rate him. They do agree about Gallas though, well since that Birmingham game they've said his performances have dropped.

I've 3 Emirates season ticket holders on my MSN list.....their answer to why he was letting him go whilst Gallas is being slated;

Number 1: 'Fuck knows mate'
Number 2: 'Wenger's lost the plot. Pig Phil was showing some great form pre season so now he's loaned him out. FFS.'
Number 3: 'God knows'

For me I don't really rate any of Arsenal central defenders to be honest, even though I think they have arguably the best full backs in the world.

I'd agree with that, although as a squad i'd say they now have the 4th best from the top 4. He refuses to spend any money on established players, unless he has something up his sleeve it looks like another trophyless season for the gunners!

They have gone like hibs, relying too much on youth players.Sooner or later there won't be a new crop for a year, and that year they will be fucked.
