Hughes almost had Celtic signing
Falkirk manager John Hughes will meet Dutch defender Glenn Loovens for the first time at Celtic Park on Saturday after he tried to sign him for The Bairns.
Hughes wanted Loovens on a loan deal in 2005 while he was coming through the ranks at Feyenoord and Hughes even got him to travel to Scotland to have a look over the club, but then he snubbed The Bairns and joined Cardiff City.

I don't like saying it but every time I drive by the stadium I always wonder why they haven't done a better job with it considering it's a new stadium. Just looks so amateurish compared to other SPL stadiums.

it has one belter of a stand though.
shame for falkirk, didn't the same happen with st.mirren and ronaldinho lol, or was that a false rumour ?

I think he was talking about Ronnie rejecting St Mirren but shockingly it is pretty different, opening day of the season I left with a jumper and rain jacket as it was bucketing down and then got to Glasgow where everyone had the sun shades on.

Ric, are you a fan on Falkirk? When I went there to see a match a couple of years ago I thought it was a dump (no offence, just my personal opinion of the place) and I plan on never going back. Also cold as hell.

No can only support one team in my opinion and it's only Celtic for me, have friends who do so know quite a bit about the team though.
