Suprise suprise 17 of the shortilisted 20 are from the premiership. I was very very suprised not to see Boruc in amongst the keepers. They choose players from the last sixteen (Aye right.)

I have always had a problem with this, how can some one like Henry win the Uefa player of the year for a few decent games he had in the CL but didnt win his domestic player of the year??? all candidates should have win there domestic player of the year award to be eligible and then have a separate CL player of the year award, makes more sense too me

It is shite. Boruc has consistently been on top form for club and country in the last few years. He wont be recognised with these awards as we will never win the CL and poland will never win the world cup. But he deserves it

Its simple Uefa are only interested in Serie A, La Liga and the Premier league.. they couldnt give a shit about the rest of the other teams out of these leagues... Disgraceful
