Bojinov faces 6 months out

Valeri Bojinov signed for Man city , from Fiorentina , in the summer of 2007 for £5.75m , but he has played only a total of 75 minutes for the first team since .

On his first start for the club, against Manchester United in August 2007, he lasted only a few minutes before sustaining the knee ligaments injury that ruled him out of the rest of that campaign .

After an impressive pre-season performance , the 22-year-old Bulgarian forward had been set to make his first start , in yesterday's 4-2 defeat at Aston Villa , but snapped his Achilles tendon during the warm up and now faces another 6 months on the sidelines

Injury prone ? or just really unlucky ?

Whatever the decision you've got to feel , at least a little , sorry for him

I watched him at Fiori a few times and thought he was class. Was really excited to hear he was going to Man City, because I thought he'd light up the Prem. Gutted for him, but a snapped achilles (makes me shudder to think about it) is a nearly impossible injury to come back from. Most people who sustain it struggle to walk properly, let alone play footie again.
