I saw that too. It would be a good move. A proper left back? Now that would be an added bonus for the CL, but I doubt, if it goes through that Fergie would let him play in th CL in case he needs him later on.
If it was a season long loan then that's okay.

And thanks for the source, wuukie.
Btw, I don't have any problems with Silvestre, I think he's a good player. But with Loovens, I would prefer a regular left back, and not an all-round'er as Mikaël Silvestre.
