Flashback! Adam Virgo

Adam Virgo has 3 goals in 2 games for Brighton who would have seen that coming lol, Scored the opener on saturday and opened the scoring tonight in the Carling Cup and added another for a first half brace. He is also playing in midfield which is a bit of a surprise.

Just thought i'd let yous all know that he cant be a total dud (well he was for us but) as Brighton seems to love him

------------
I will let people know about a different ex celt from time to time if there is any interest

Maybe he's just meant to be a Brighton player.

I actualy went to a Brighton about 10 years ago. Think it was a cup game too. Cant actualy remember the score but we did get a mention on the tanoy at half time

Cool mate they must have been a pretty tiny club at the time, Brighton is the ground were they have the track round the park and it looks so far away from the pitch a bit like Hampden if im right in thinking that

That must be their proposed plans if they get to the premiership because last time I saw their stadium was about 2 year ago it did not look like that haha that is a bit quality if that is their stadium tho especially for a league 1 side

That is exactly why England is light years ahead of Scotland when a club in their 3rd tier can build a stadium like that when clubs in our 3rd tier are part time lol

Well to be fair those are only proposed plans. Remember the huns grandiose fantasy redevelopment of scumville that was splashed all over the papers last season. Doesn't mean it is going to actually get built or is even realistic for Brighton.

It has taken quite a few years for Brighton to get planning permission for this due to local residents complaints i believe was the reason. Hope they get it built will be good for them

He was their player of the year and top scorer before we signed him! I never really bought into the chastising of Strachan for him flopping, he was good for Mark McGhee and he obviously gave Celtic a glowing reference. He just couldn't make the step up which is fair enough, Brighton is his level.

Great point mate, he got dogs abuse here for long enough, not the guys fault he didnt make the step up. For every player who does, theres players who dont, its the risk you take.
