Have we actually been linked with this guy or it this just gossip? i mean is there any actual proper link? i have heard him being linked with west ham, juve and arsenal but not celtic........if pl was gonna make it up to the fans this would be the perfect way to do it however! This guy hasnt even signed for us and you are already puttin him down, theres probably no chance he will sign as Lawell is not spending that sort of money. And Graveson did not suit strachans system ! anyhow we should still be aspiring to sign this calibre of player if we are going to progress further in the champions league.

I distinctly remember last summer he stated that he would always try to have 3 or 4 big name players at parkhead, it was not long after the signing of Graveson, Im not stating that he said he would bring in 3 big names this summer, but in general he meant that there would be players of that quality in the squad, my problem is we have got rid of Graveson, Balde is not far behind.

1. the only reason gravesen didnt suit strachans system was the tiny flaw in his inability to play football
2. gravesen was held in far higher reagard generally back just before we signed him than appiah is now, this "calibre" of player doesnt always deliver like they're supposed to

Its all about a matter of oppinion you obviously dont rate Appiah so you will just have to wait and see where ever he plays. When you say this "calibre" of player doesnt always deliver like they are supposed to does that mean that we should never try to sign players like this.
