we should of snapped him up when we were first looking at him just like when we bumped into Pavlyuchenko in the CL qualifiers last season.

How do you know we were looking at Pvlyuchenko then? You cant sign a player on how he played against you in 1/2 games.

I don't think he said we WERE looking at him mate - just said "bumped into", and i agree with both of you - i wanted us to sign him there (and then before he dumped Engerland out of the Euros) but i also agree you can't go investing millions on the benefits of one game unless you are willing to take a big risk.
In the end, however, the risk would clearly have been worthwhile - he's away to Spurs for megabucks.

Aye, he defo would have been cup tied Roslea. Just thought that, despite the fact he misses a lot, he has scored goals every season in a strong - but relatively unknown - league. Could have been awesome..

He will be soon. His 3 caps have come recently and he is only 23. I've seen the guy play a few times internationally and thought he was decent. He's definitely better than anything we have at the moment.
