Not sure if this has been spoken about coz im new to this forum but has any1 else heard this rumour? There was talk of this at the start of the summer but nothings ever been said about it since. However i saw an article about it on a transfers website and it said Celtic were hoping to do a deal this week! Would be a good signing in my opinion. We definately need an out & out left back coz Naylor's just not up to it and Rat played well against us when we played Shakhtar. If you play well against the hoops you must be good!!

A lot of these transfer websites are pure speculation. I wouldnt take it too seriosly. Dont know much about the player either.

Maybe speculation but we definately need to get a left back in. I can't beleive this isn't GS no1 priority.

Who say's it isn't?

He clearly believes Wilson can do a job there but i'm pretty sure he realises we're short at left back.

Wilson can do a job at left back and i would prefer Wilson to Naylor but im against playing right footed full backs on the left. You need your full backs sprinting down that line and getting a cross in, Wilson needs alot more practice with his left peg if he wants that position permenantly!

hes a nippy we player, would love to see him at celtic however i do like wilson playing at left back and would be more than happy to sign a striker ahead of a left back right now

First of all let me welcome you to talkceltic mate, anyway back to the topic this rumour is nonsense, the shakhtar coach has came out and said that Rat is NOT for sale, and they are a really rich club so i would take that as it is defo a non-starter.

Thanks mate. When i heard the rumour at the start of the summer i was hopeful but then the talk kinda fizzled out. He's the kinda left back we should be looking at tho altho his price tag could be the stumbling block!
